Albarran Bail held a meeting of Pa Rouco’s family, with Adam Rouco and Estre Berrocal in attendance.
In the small enclosed conference room, Estre Berrocal sobbed and held her mouth and nose as she watched the videos falling over the curtain.
Even though Adam Rouco is a good person, his eyes turned red as he watched his favorite daughter slit her wrists in the bathtub with such desperation.
Albarran Bail did not y all the thousand videos, after all, a thousand videos take a long time and Albarran Bail only yed the important ones.
And for the rest, Albarran Bail gave Adam Rouco a USB memory stick with all of Pa Rouco’s videos.
When Adam Rouco and Estre Berrocal finished watching the video and calmed down a bit, Albarran Bail said, “Pa Rouco’s illness is difficult to deal with, but it is notplicated once you have understood all her psychological movements and thoughts, she is a very simple person in herself. But, as family members, you have to be mentally prepared for a long battle, because this disease, in itself, is very difficult to cure overnight.”
Albarran Bail reached out and touched Estre Berrocal’s shoulder to reassure her.
Adam Rouco’s voice was clipped and muffled, though he had restrained himself, and asked, “One year, will it cure her?”
Albarran Bail reflected for a moment and said, “One year would be the safest treatment cycle, but this is feasible when Pa Rouco realizes she is sick and receives active treatment, and then, if her condition bes good, she goes home and takes her medication as she should, with regr checkups.”
The implication is that in a year’s time, I’m afraid, she won’t be cured, but the situation has improved, and this is not hard to do.
Adam Rouco purses his thin lips, swallows saliva, and finally nods with a stony face.
Adam Rouco asks, “Can I meet my daughter today? It’s been a long time since her mother and I officially met her.”
Albarran Bail nods and says, “Yes, I can, and I asked Mr. Adam and Mrs. Adam toe here today to meet Pa Rouco, give her some confidence to continue her treatment, and encourage her.”
Estre Berrocal’s eyes filled with tears, without uttering a single word.
Albarran Bail took Adam Rouco and Estre Berrocal into the living room.
When we arrived at the door of the room, Adam Rouco handed Estre Berrocal a tissue and told her: “Dry your tears, so that Paulita does not see us crying for her. If not, we will not be the ones cheering her up, but she will be the one consoling us.”
Slightly flirtatious.
Estre Berrocal wiped her tears with a tissue, but said, still worried, “I’m afraid I won’t be able to hold backter.”
Adam Rouco shook her hand and pulled Estre Berrocal with him into the living room.
The door to the living room clicked open.
Pa Rouco, sitting dazed on the bed, heard the movement and looked toward the door with anguid,zy look.
As soon as Adam Rouco’s gaze touched his daughter’s, he immediately smiled faintly in an affectionate way and asked, as always, “Paulita, you’ve been home so many days without seeing Daddy and Estre, have you missed us?”
Adam Rouco and Estre Berrocal walk over and sit down next to Pa Rouco’s bed.
Pa Rouco looks at them and the corners of her lips quirk a soft smile, an innocent smile.
“Think.”
Since he was alone in the room and did not speak for a long time, his voice, which at first was clear and childlike, became a little hoarse.
Estre Berrocal looked at her daughter and tried to smile, “When you get home, I’ll make you the ravioli you like so much.”
Pa Rouco opened her lips and said with slurred speech, “I … I seem to be … very sick … I don’t know … I don’t know when I’ll be able to go home”.
She squeezed out a bitter smile toward Adam Rouco and Estre Berrocal as she struggled to organize the flow of words in her head.
Estre Berrocal looked at her with difficulty and tears suddenly rolled from her eyes, but she still smiled and said, “It’s okay, your father and I, we’ll be waiting for you toe home.”
Estre Berrocal reaches out and hugs Pa Rouco.
Adam Rouco hugged them both, mother and daughter.
Adam Rouco hid the tears in his eyes, looked at his daughter’s clean white face and said softly, “Lucio wille to see you tomorrow.
Pa Rouco smiled at Adam Rouco and scoffed with a certain helplessness: “Lucio … must think that now I … … look stupid.”Text ? by N0ve/lDrama.Org.
Adam Rouco looked at his daughter, who was clearly smiling slightly, but it was harder than crying.
Adam Rouco reached out and hugged his daughter, tightly, before saying, half seriously, half jokingly, “If Lucio calls you stupid, you tell daddy and he will punish him harshly.”
Pa Roucoughed and said, “He must have thought that in his mind … but her mouth … Was afraid to say it. ”
“It’s not right for you to think that way in your heart about your sister.” Adam Rouco caressed his daughter’s face, “Our Paulita, growing up smart, you were the pride of The Rouco family, no one would feel bad for you now.”
Estre Berrocal took her hand and said, “Paulita, whatever happens to you, your father and I, and Lucio, will always be behind you, don’t be afraid and be positive in your treatment, okay?”
Pa Rouco arched an eyebrow, “I’m not afraid… just… just…. medicine … so bitter.”
So bitter.
Adam Rouco and Estre Berrocal, took a deep breath, but tears eventually rolled down their faces, unable to contain themselves.
