It's strange switching writing styles as normally I write in third person because it's something that comes a lot more naturally to me, but I thought this story might benefit more from a first person perspective. Sairya Treigha, princess and heir apparent to the throne, is no exception upon the disappearance of both her mother and eldest brother. As someone who has an innate ability to use magic, she could be one of the keys necessary to end a war which has be raging for several millennia, with no sight in end. The problem is the place where she must go to learn and grow. A school arisen from the world's dark history and has a dark history of its own. A school that is unlike any other and pits its students against one another. Once enrolled, there is no way to leave other than death or graduation. Can Sairya Treigha, a girl who has barely become an adult survive and navigate this strange, terrifying, new world she finds herself in? Or will she succumb to the darkness that engulfs most of its students? Will she die and fade into the abyss? Or will she succeed in such a way that no one has before? Only time will tell....
