"But… they were too arrogant, and they barged in iming that they''re Boss Nicholson''s men. None

After Kingsley heard Wendell''s exnation, he said sternly, "And then? Did you fight them?"

Kingsley nodded, then strode straight toward the center of the crowd.
He had just stepped in when Cedric groaned and said, "Mr. Nicholson, you''re finally here! If you

Emmett looked even more pitiful as he said, "Mr. Nicholson, why did you tell us toe to a ce
like this? They won''t listen to reason, and they fought us right off the bat!"
Kingsley was slightly surprised when he saw their condition.
Their hands and feet were bound as they sat back-to-back on the floor. They were beaten ck and
blue, and they were almost stripped naked.
The gang definitely learned from their lesson during their fight and searched them thoroughly for
concealed weapons.
Also, Cedric''s head was still bleeding. He was probably the one who suffered a hit on the head in
Wendell''s story.

"It''s them! They hit us!" Emmett pointed at the people surrounding them,ining, "They''re so
unreasonable! I think they even broke my leg! Mr. Nicholson, you have to avenge us!"
When Baron heard their conversation, beads of cold sweat appeared on his forehead.
"B-Boss Nicholson… Were they really sent by you?"
Wendell gave Baron a look, whispering, "They are Boss Nicholson''s men."
Baron''s face turned pale in an instant. "I… I didn''t know that! Boss Nicholson, this is all just a
misunderstanding…"
Kingsley waved his hand. "Never mind, that''s not important. You didn''t mean it, after all."
Cedric was rendered speechless by Kingsley''s se attitude.
