    legs and dragged him toward the back kitchen without further dy.

    lungs, begging for mercy while he was being roughly manhandled.


    Immediately afterward, the back kitchen door mmed shut with a loud yet final bang. Cain''s


    screams became muffled.


    Meanwhile, Rupert, who was crumpled to the floor, freaked out as he watched such a terrifying


    scene unfold before his eyes. Although his eyes were open, they were unfocused due to terror as


    he was beyond terrified.


    Kingsley nced at Rupert coldly before he asked Kenny, "What is the estimated arrival time of the


    person I have asked you to contact just now?"


    "I sent that person a message earlier, so I presume they will be here in about ten minutes," Kenny


    promptly replied.


    Kingsley nodded in satisfaction. Then, he turned to look at Reene and said, "Sis, I have some stuff


    that I need to attend toter. Stay here and wait for that person, alright?"


    "Wait?" Reene blinked her eyes, feeling confused. "Who is it?"


    Kingsley merely smiled slightly. "You will find out when she arrives." He kept Reene in the dark as


    he gently wrapped his arms around her shoulder. "Sis, I know you don''t want to stay here even for a


    minute longer. But trust me. It''ll be worth the wait. She will arrive in another ten minutes, so please


    stay for a while longer. Moreover, I will ask Advisor Shane to stick around and apany you. So,


    you have nothing to worry about."
