Chapter 493 Just Nichs Alone


    Nichs stood up, saying, "Dad, but I''m gonna dump Mia when Grandma is cured. She used to be


    Ethan Windsor''s girlfriend, and I''m not gonna spend the rest of my life with used goods!"


    "Haha… That''s not a problem!" Matt replied with a guffaw. "You might as well kill her after this as


    long as the matter gets solved sessfully, no?"


    Only then did Nichs feel reassured; he stepped straight out of the ward with his car keys in hand.


    Then, he drove all the way to  the Wynn Manor at full speed, reaching there in just over ten minutes.


    Screech! With a grinding squeal of the brakes, he brought the car to a halt in the courtyard of the


    Wynn Manor.

    Upon hearing the noise, the Wynns immediately opened the door and came out. Standing in front of


    them was rence, who looked really thrilled the instant he saw Nichs as though he had taken a


    stimnt. "Young Master Nichs! Young Master Nichs!" He walked up to Nichs excitedly


    while spreading his arms. "Oh, Young Master Nichs! I can''t believe you''re actually dating my


    daughter!"


    Mia looked all shy and bashful beside him. "Dad, this is Nichs'' first time visiting our home, so


    what are you waiting for? Hurry up and invite him in to take a seat, will you?"


    "Yeah, you''re right!" rence pped his hand over his forehead. "Look at me; I got carried away


    with excitement. Hurry ande on in, Young Master Nichs! This way, please!"


    Other members of the Wynn Family said enviously and respectfully, "That''s right, Young Master


    Nichs! Pleasee on in!"


    Sitting in the living room, Ysabel craned her neck and looked out the window. She swore in


    exasperation, "F*ck, I wonder what kind of tricks Mia''s learned to seduce men. Why are all these


    wealthy dandies dating her one after another?" As she spoke, she turned to look at Reene. "If only


    you had half her capabilities! That way, your dad and I wouldn''t have to be snubbed by rence


    and his family every single day!"


    Reene opened her mouth to speak, but before she could say anything, Kingsley retorted


    impassively, "Can''t you make aeback after I give you 150 million? Not even over 20 rk


    Corporations together are worth that amount, no?"


    "Haha! Just shut up, you little b*stard!" Ysabel shot a re at him. "Young Master Nichs is


    coming in here very soon, so what''s the point of you bragging in front of me?"


    Kingsley curled his lips into a smirk. "Just Nichs alone isn''t worth my attention!"


    Ysabel rolled her eyes dramatically. "What a blowhard! If you have the f*cking time to talk big, you


    might as well go out and work for a living instead! Stop living off Reene every single day!"


    While they were talking, the Wynns weed Nichs, as if they were rolling out the red carpet for


    him, into the house.


    Nichs spotted Kingsley at a nce as soon as he entered the living room. Just when he opened


    his mouth to speak, Miained loudly, "Honey, he was the one who bullied me just now. Had I


    not mentioned your name, he''d probably have raised a hand against me!" Then, she looked at


    Reene smugly, saying, "My boyfriend has arrived! Reene, you and this little b*stard are gonna have


    a hard time today!"


    She had thought that Nichs would avenge her right away. Much to her astonishment, though, he


    actually nodded to Kingsley, saying, "It''s been a while, Dr. Nicholson."


    Hearing Nichs'' words, rence and Mia exchanged a brief look in puzzlement. The Wynns were


    absent when Kingsley performed acupuncture on Joshua the other day, which was why they were


    momentarily puzzled as to what Nichs meant by calling him ''Dr. Nicholson.'' "Honey, what did you


    call him?" Mia asked with a baffled expression. "Why did you call him Dr. Nicholson? He''s just a


    little b*stard who lives off a woman."


    Nichs let out a soft chuckle. "Seems like you guys have yet to hear about Dr. Nicholson''s superb


    medical skills," he said while walking up to Kingsley. "Dr. Nicholson, you haven''t shown up for a


    while. My grandma''s anxiously waiting for you."


    Kingsley curled his lips into a smirk. He replied impassively, "I still remember Old Mrs. Fox''s illness,


    but I''m still waiting for Matt Fox to kowtow and apologize to me!"
