Introduction: Adele, former bloodkin empire soldier, deserts her country to raise a kid that was taken as a prisoner of war. After running for the better part of a decade trying to take care of the kid, she gets driven into serving a militia against her better will and judgment. But within this 'militia', she finds people who share the same goals as her, forcing her to question her previous outlook on life. How is she to reconcile and balance all this?
