Chapter 104
Chapter 104 Kiss Me, and I’ll Tell You
Nichs led Nancy to the door and paused, turning around to face her. He said, “Close your eyes and
give me your hand.”
Curious, she inquired, “What’s with all the secrecy?” She then extended her hand, cing it gently. in
his palm. Her hand, small and fair, contrasted markedly against hisrger, rougher one, emphasizing
her delicate nature.
He firmly grasped her hand, his big palm almost entirely enveloping her smaller one. He asked, “Are
you ready?”
Surprisingly, she felt a hint of nervousness mingled with a tinge of anticipation. “Yes, I’m ready,” she
affirmed with a nod.
“Now, close your eyes.”
“Okay,” she agreed, gently shutting her eyes. Her long eyshes fluttered like miniature fans,
endearing and charming.
With one hand still clutching Nancy’s, Nichs used his free hand to open the door. As he observed
the perfectly executed surprise inside, he nodded in satisfaction. He then turned to her and whispered
tenderly, “You can open your eyes now.”
Eagerly, she eximed, “Okay! I’m opening them now!”
Perhaps driven by a hint of fear that her dream might vanish, she opened her eyes only slightly.
However, upon beholding the grand, dreamlike, and profoundly romantic disy before her, she
instantly widened her eyes.
Her eyes sparkled with astonishment, struggling to ept the surreal realityid out before her. It was
a scene she had only associated with dreams. She even questioned whether she was awake or still
immersed in a dream. The sheer beauty of the sight overwhelmed her, making it seem surreal. She
kept her eyes wide open, almost afraid the enchanting spectacle might vanish if she blinked.
The room was filled with an incredible array of dolls spanning all shapes, sizes, and styles. Some were
larger than Nancy, exquisitely crafted and lifelike in every detail. Even the doll’s eyshes. were
meticulously designed to appear authentic. Collections of more miniature dolls lined the room, including
her cherished favorites, and not just those famous during her childhood. There were also vintage dolls
that she had recently adored and limited-edition dolls from popr animations. They were now here
before her, bringing her dreamy world to life. The room was a visual feast, every bit as magical as in
her dreams.
“Nichs, you must pinch me to wake me up,” she finally spoke, breaking the silence that had gripped
her for so long.
Nichs chuckled, leaned closer, and teased, “You’re not dreaming, my silly goose. Everything before
you is real.”
“Really?” Nancy remained incredulous.
He walked behind her and covered her eyes with his hands. Counting down silently, he began with
“Ten.” As he reached “One,” he swiftly removed his hands. The room filled with dolls remained
unchanged, just as enchanting as before.
She enthusiastically confirmed, “It’s not a dream! It’s real. They’re all real.” She continued, “This is
incredible. So many dolls, and they’re all my favorites! How did you manage to do this?” Her
excitement knew no bounds as she rushed into the room. This time, she no longer held back. She
hugged one of her beloved dolls and held it affectionately.
As she explored the world of dolls, Nancy resembled an adorable little bunny, hopping from one doll to
another, her radiant smile a testament to her sheer exhration. She couldn’t help but move
energetically around the room, savoring every moment. With a doll clutched tightly in her arms, she
moved from one corner of the room to another, her face adorned with a brilliant, joyful expression. Her
heart danced with happiness.
When she saw her most recent favorite, a limited-edition vintage doll that was incredibly hard to buy,
she grabbed it and ran back to Nichs.
“Whoa! You managed to find this doll! Nichs, how did you do it? I had no idea you were this
amazing!” Her joy was palpable, as was her admiration.
Observing her childlike admiration, mainly the shimmer in her eyes, he felt that all the effort had been
worthwhile. It seemed that no matter how challenging the journey had been, it was meaningful now.
“Do you like this one?” he asked, one hand in his pocket, a satisfied smile gracing. his lips.
“Yeah!” Nancy nodded eagerly. “I love it so much! Its the doll I’ve been obsessed withtely. How did
you know that I liked it?”
“From…” Nichs began. Then, he yfully added, “It’s a secret.”
Unable to contain her curiosity, she clung to his arm and yfully shook it. “Tell me! Tell me! You were
about to tell me just now. If you don’t, it’ll drive me crazy.”
“Are you truly eager to know?” he teased.
“Yes, very eager.”
“Give me a kiss then.” Nichs pointed at his check
She blushed, showing hesitation. After summoning her courage, she recalled something and decided
to be bolder. On her tiptoes, she leaned in, nting a gentle kiss on his check. Yet, just as she was
about to withdraw, he quickly encircled her waist and engaged her lips in a passionate

kiss.
A few minutester, Nichs let go of Nancy. Her lips were rosy, as was her entire countenance.
“Meanie! You tricked me,” she eximed, lightly pounding her small fist against his chest.
He grabbed her hand and said with a sweet smile, “Yeah. How mean of me.”
“Now, will you tell me how you knew?” she prodded.
“It’s quite simple. I checked your Twitter and noticed you liked a tweet about this doll. So, I deduced
that you must like it.”
Nancy thought, Oh. So that’s why. Although she rarely spent much time on social media, she browsed
through her ounts asionally. She hadn’t expected Nichs to pick up on such at subtle detail.
Her heart warmed with gratitude. They said that a man who’s genuinely devoted to you can be
addictive, impossible to do without. It appeared that he belonged to that category of
men.
“So, are you satisfied with my gift, Mrs. Sallow?”
Her heart raced as she pondered the significance of his words. Throughout their marriage, she had
often been addressed as “Mrs. Sallow” by the household staff and Lynn. Yet, he had never officially
acknowledged her as his wife. However, was he finally recognizing her identity, addressing her as “Mrs.
Sallow”?
“Did that slip out by mistake?” She looked at him, seeking confirmation.
He met her gaze with sincerity. “Nope. I was referring to you, Mrs. Sallow.”
