    "Izzy, are you hurt?" Ethan quickly checked her for injuries, relieved to find only a slight scrape on

    "I...I''m fine." Ines stammered, clearly still in shock. People were so careless when they drove, even


    standing on the sidewalk wasn''t safe anymore.


    Ethan held her tightly, the adrenaline still pumping through his veins. It was a close call, too close.


    He was just grateful he hadn''t gone too far, he couldn''t bear the thought of losing her again.
