Chapter 877 Dont Be So Jealous

Chapter 877 Don''t Be So Jealous

"Says who? I am jealous." Julien sat down and nced at Sydney.

His nd tone indicated that he was jealous.

Sydney rubbed her chin and nodded. "I didn''t detect it just now."

"It doesn''t have to be shown on the face." He took her hand in his, put it on hisp, and fiddled with

    it.

Her small hands were soft and tender. He couldn''t take his hands off them.

    He liked to stroke them.

"That''s true, but it doesn''t apply to you." Sydney tilted her head and looked at Julien with

amusement, "You always show your emotions on your face, and I can easily tell if you''re jealous.

Just now, you were expressionless, which surprised me and made me believe you were not

    jealous."

"I was." Julien looked her in the eye, "I didn''t make a fuss because I know that you don''t like Terrell."

Terrell West was the name of thewyer.

Sydney raised her eyebrows. "Oh? Why do you say so?"

"His appearance and figure are not as good as mine." Julien straightened up and crowed, "Your

    taste is not that bad."

    Sydney giggled.

Wasn''t this what she said before?

She coaxed him in this way when he was jealous of thewyerst time.

She couldn''t believe he kept it in mind.

He was right though. Her taste couldn''t be that bad.

It was not that Terrell was a bad man, but humans liked beautiful things.

Terrell''s appearance couldn''t pique her interest at all. He was not her cup of tea.

"If so, why are you jealous of Luke and others? Do you think I like them?" Sydney asked, holding

    onto Julien''s arm.

Julien pursed his lips. "It''s different. Although Luke is not as hot as me, he is way better than other

guys. Most importantly, he likes you."

He was quite emotional because he had felt the pressure.

This man disparaged others and sang praises of himself. Sydney was amused. "Alright, anyway, I

belong to you. No one can steal me away from you and draw us apart. As long as we''re together,

you can rest your mind at ease."

As soon as her voice died away, her mouth was covered by his hand.

"What''s wrong?" Sydney blinked. Her muffled voice came out from behind his hand.

Julien looked at her seriously. "We will not be separated. We''ll grow old together. No one can draw

    us apart, not even Death."

Sydneyughed and took his hand off her mouth. "You look so serious. I thought something bad

    had happened."

    "I mean it."

"I know." Sydney leaned on his shoulder, "But the future is hard to tell. Life is long. Who knows what

    will happen?"

Julien held her tightly. "Nothing will change my love for you."

Met with his persistence and reluctance to think about the future, Sydney sighed and stopped

    talking.

She was afraid that it would drive him crazy.

Probably because he had lost her once, he was resistant and sensitive to such words as

separation, breakup, and change of heart.

He didn''t like to hear them. He firmly believed that kind of thing would not happen to them.

She didn''t know why he was so confident that their bond would not weaken and would stay deep.

Then again, she had to admit that his persistence had greatly relieved her confusion and anxiety

    about the future.

She decided not to worry about it. Life is long, and no one can predict the future.

Compared with that, people should live in the moment.

At least, they were together and devoted to each other.

Sydney curled her lips and held his arm more tightly. "You''re right. As long as we stick to each other,

time will not change anything. Don''t you think so?"

    "Yeah." Julien stroked her hair.

    Sydney''s smile deepened.

Just then, Terrell finished the phone call and came back.

"Mr. Flint, Ms. Raines." He put away his phone and nodded to them.

Julien looked up at him and enunciated, "Dallin?"

Terrell was surprised. "How did you know?"

Sydney straightened up. "What? He was talking to the patriarch of the Sullivan family?"

"I heard him calling the other party Mr. Sullivan when I passed by." Julien''s eyes fell on thewyer''s

    suit pocket.

    Terrell''s phone was inside.

Sydney was even more surprised. "You heard it?"

When they came out of the interrogation room and greeted Terrell, they were not far away from him.

However, they were not near enough to hear him talking over the phone.

She didn''t hear anything, but he did.

Sydney looked at Julien''s ears with astonishment. "Turns out, except for your sense of smell, your

    hearing is keen too."

"It''s alright," he said modestly, but a proud smile crossed his lips.

Obviously, he liked to hear herpliment, although he remainedposed on the surface.

Staying with him for a long time, Sydney concluded that he was not as lofty as he looked. In fact, he

    was a smoldering ember.

He talked cheekily from time to time.

That was why she was not shocked when he said something out of the ordinary. She only felt funny.

"Alright, enough for the joke. Let''s get down to business." Sydney gently nudged him.

Julien cleared his throat, put away his smile, and resumed his businesslike manner. "What did Dallin

    say to you?"

Terrell pushed his sses. "He asked if I had met you. He inquired about your attitude toward Ms.

Sullivan and the possible ways to save her."

"How did you answer him?" Julien narrowed his eyes.

Terrell smiled, "I told him the truth. Not satisfied, he scolded him bitterly. For the sake of money, I

    had to soothe him."

Sydneyughed, "No wonder you sounded so polite but didn''t look so respectful. I see it now."

"That was embarrassing," Terrell smiled awkwardly.

Sydney shook her head. "It''s alright."

    He did it for money.

She would do the same thing.

    It was notughable at all.

"By the way, Mr. Flint," Terrell suddenly remembered something and turned serious, "Since Mr.

Dallin failed to intercede with you through me, I think he will find you in person."
