Chapter 733 Clingy Man
"No!" Julien''s forehead pressed against hers, and he looked at her seriously, "You trust me from the
bottom of your heart, but I need you to say it to me. Otherwise, I can''t rest my mind at ease. You
have to promise me."
Met with his adamancy, Sydney had to agree, "Okay, I believe you, alright?"
Julien smiled with satisfaction.
Sydney found it both funny and annoying. She pinched his face and said, "You''re acting like a child."
"I''m like this only in front of you." Julien chested out.
Sydney was amused. "You look proud."
"Why not?" Julien lighted his chin, "I take it as yourpliment."
Sydney shook her head. "I''m notplimenting, but you can think it that way."
"Thank you." Julien picked up his coffee and had a sip.
Then he remembered something and added, "By the way, you''ve had the factory assemble the first
batch of goods after the machines were shipped over from Kingthene, right?"
Sydney hummed, "Yeah, the final goods are quite good."
"Have you found a distributor yet?" Julien asked again.
Sydney nodded, "You bet. I contacted the dealers before the machines arrived. I''m no longer that
inexperienced girl when I just took over Skylight Corporation. Now I usually get things ready
beforehand and avoid chaos."
"Not bad." Julienplimented her with a smile.
Sydney smiled in return.
"What''s the name of the dealer?" Julien put down his coffee and looked at her.
Sydney replied, "Owlimited."
Julien nodded slightly. "That''s a century-old dealer with a great reputation. You made a good
choice."
Sydney smiled, "It''s not me but my dad who made a good choice. When he was at the helm of
Skylight Corporation, he frequently worked with the president of Owlimited, who is a friend of our
family. Their cooperation went quite well."
Julien hummed and said, "Owlimited has recently opened a newrge shopping mall, and they n
to cut the ribbon at the end of the month. Have you received an invitation yet?"
If not, he would take her there.
He heard that Owlimited had invited a bunch of technical experts in heavy industries. He could
introduce her to them.
The main business of Skylight Corporation was in heavy industries. Once thepany was relisted,
reform would be necessary.
By then, they would need to consult experts on reform issues.
Sydney didn''t know that Julien was nning everything for her. When she heard his question, she
went to her desk, opened the drawer, and took out a purple invitation letter. "Check out this."
Julien raised his eyebrows. "Turns out you''ve been invited. Nice!"
Sydney put the invitation letter back. "I received it yesterday. I nned to tell you, but forgot. If you
hadn''t brought it up, I wouldn''t have remembered."
"We''ll go together." Julien looked at her and proposed, "You''ll be mypanion."
Sydney came back to him. "Sure."
Since they had established their rtionship, she had no reason to refuse.
"That''s a deal. I''lle and pick you up."
"Okay." Sydney nodded.
Julien left after lunch.

He had nned to stay till she got off work and go back to Shallow Bay with her.
During lunch, Zack called and told him there were somepany affairs for him to handle.
He had to go.
Before leaving, he dawdled and looked reluctant.
If she hadn''t urged him to go, he might have chosen to stay.
He gained a lot of benefits from her.
Only then was he willing to go.
In the mirror, Sydney looked at her lips swollen from his kissing and sighed.
This man had been ever clingier recently. It was a bit overwhelming.
Sydney put down the powder box and shook her head with a helpless smile.
"Ms. Raines." Sean knocked on the door.
Sydney collected her thoughts, straightened up, and said, "Come in."
Sean pushed the door open and entered the office. "Ms. Raines, the renovation team at the factory
just called and asked when you would go and take a look. They want to know if any part needs
change. If not, they will report to theirpany on thepletion of their work."
Sydney checked out the calendar at the bottom right corner of the screen. "It has been about two
months. They finished renovating the factory quite fast."
"They had to since we''re in a hurry to move into the factory. I''ve urged them to crash the schedule,
and they did it." Sean pushed her sses and smiled.
Sydney also smiled, "I like this kind of honest decorationpany. By the way, how is the museum
project going on?"
"That would have to wait. They value antiquity and build slowly. Early on, Brandon had it
demolished, which made it further behind schedule. The framework hasn''t been finished yet, not to
mention decoration." Sean shrugged.
Sydney sighed, "That was on us."
If she hadn''t leased half of thend to the state, she wouldn''t have been able to build the factory.
Brandon would have kept on causing trouble.
If it were not for the museum, the factory would have been ruined.
The other day, Brandon had nned to demolish her factory. She led her bane to the museum and
caused it to be smashed.
She felt sorry for the museum.
To make up for it, she had the construction workers'' meals covered with the fund of Skylight
Corporation.
Sydney thought to herself and rubbed her brows. "Even if the construction of the museum is still at
the early stage, we will keep its canteen. We''ll only close the factory''s canteen when the renovation
team for the factory leaves."
She had promised the museum staff that she would take care of the meals till the museum
construction waspleted.
"Consider it done." Sean nodded.
Sydney checked out her schedule again and said, "Tell the renovation team that I''ll probably go over
on the weekend. If they rest on that day, they can leave a representative there."
"Will do," Sean responded.
Sydney looked at her and asked, "Anything else?"
"Nothing." Sean shook her head.
Sydney smiled, "Then go ahead with your business."
"Okay." Sean nodded slightly and left.
Sydney picked up the pen and prepared to work.
On the desk, her phone suddenly rang.
She held it up and saw it was Finn calling.
Sydney tilted her head in surprise.
''Why is he calling?''
Instead of thinking much about it, she put the phone to her ear and answered the phone, "Dr.
James, what''s up?"
"That woman is going to jail, right?" Finn got straight to the point.
At first, Sydney wondered who he was referring to. When she heard the jail part, she figured that he
was talking about Madeline.
"Yeah, she ndered the state, which is against thew. She will be thrown in prison." She nodded.
Madeline had broken thew by ndering her, but it was a minor crime. Detainment would be the
severest punishment.
ndering the state was a different story. She would definitely be in jail for a couple of months.
