What Went Before the Gestalt: Book 0 of The Behemoth Gestalt
AUTHOR'S NOTE: This is a prequel!A dare is a powerful thing. When Shelby dares Shae to go “cruising” high schools for a new tap boy, she inadvertently sets events with apocalyptic consequences in motion. So begins a relationship every high school boy dreams of and every vampire fears.Long before the zombie apocalypse in Book 1, our two main characters, James and Shae, had a fledgling romance that ended tragically. These are the details of that time. This is a prequel/spackle book, aka the author cut a bunch of flashbacks from Book 1 but didn’t want to throw it out, so he made this: Book 0. It's optional but has some fun bits when you get past the teenage romancy parts. Plus, Shae gets drunk & rambles in Erse.[Hey! If you wanted something classy, you shouldn't have pawned it off on me. You’re the author! –Rhi]This book is written to be entertaining. If you’re looking for something to have fun with, including a crazy, fourth-wall-breaking character (yeah, that's Rhi up above here), this is it.BUT BE WARNED:No, we didn’t have a professional editor (couldn’t afford one.) They say editing is never done; I've been editing for what seems like years now. I'm having to stop because the characters want me to keep telling their story and are tired of watching me run grammar/spelling checks.Yes, this is our first published work. No, there are no zombies (none, nada, zilch) in this book; those come in the next book, “Gathering of the Gestalt.”Yeah, I know I’m talking in the plural because the characters in my head won’t shut up for five minutes so I can finish this!Yes, this has been published on big A, but I'm posting it here to try and get some constructive criticism and hook new readers.
