    He was relentless in tormenting her.


    Despite being brought to tears and screams, E was known for her fiery spirit. She even managed


    to scratch Leslie''s arm.


    Uninhibited, she shouted, "Fine! Let''s call it quits then. I''ll find myself another man. I refuse to


    believe that someone like me can''t find a man to sleep with. What makes you so special?"


    ''This damned guy! What makes him better than other men?''


    The more aggressively she yelled, the more intense Leslie became.


    "How dare you say that?! I''ll kill you!"


    The entire night, E''s voice echoed in the room. The mansion''s servants dared not eavesdrop.


    Every time Leslie brought E back, it sounded like a murder was taking ce.

    Leslie finally had enough.


    He got up and headed to the bathroom for a shower. When he came out, E was still there.


    She had donned one of his shirts, leaving a couple of buttons undone, and leaned against the bed,


    smoking. She exuded an alluring demeanor.


    Leslie chuckled. "You just cried your eyes out, and now you''re trying to act seductive?"


    He casually took the cigarette from between her fingers, taking a drag himself. "What''s a woman


    smoking? You better quit."


    E, unusually, didn''t retort.


    Leslie leaned against the bed, smoking, while she softly traced circles on his abdominal muscles


    with her slender fingers. Her voice turned tender. "Are you calm now?"


    Leslie nced down at her. "The swelling has subsided, but the anger hasn''t."


    E moved in for a kiss.


    Her subtle tricks were not lost on Leslie. He knew all too well that it was all for Zoe. Otherwise, she


    wouldn''t haveid there quietly. She would have left a long time ago.


    Leslie grabbed a handful of her long hair with one hand and extinguished the cigarette with the


    other.


    He calmly said, "Regardless of Zoe''s feelings for Mason, she''s now Mrs. Lockwood. That woman


    openly attacking Zoe is equivalent to pping Mason''s face. The only reason Mason didn''t react


    was because he probably wanted Zoe to beg him to."


    Leslie smirked. "But she won''t change her mind, will she?"


    E was stunned.


    Sitting up, she still couldn''tprehend. "Are you saying that Mason intentionally ignored it?"


    Leslie found it tempting to use the cigarette to burn her.


    He got out of bed, dressed swiftly, and fastened his belt while speaking. "Zoe knows it herself.


    Mason is ruthless in this matter."


    He looked at E. "If you''re tired, you can stay here for the night."


    However, E immediately got up.


    She changed out of his clothes and into her own in front of Leslie. As she left, she casually draped


    her arm over his shoulder. "I never spend the night at a sugar daddy''s house."


    Even though she said it with a seductive tone, Leslie saw through her.

    He pinched her chin and observed, "You''ve been used so many times. Even if Noahes out of


    prison, he probably wouldn''t want you."


    E felt a sharp sting.


    No one knew that she had been assaulted as a teenager, causing her to live in a shadow. She had


    never been worthy of Noah.


    However, sheughed carefreely. "Yeah, you fit me the best, Mr. Leslie."


    Leslie sneered. "You have quite the imagination.


    Tears welled up in E''s eyes.
