All of them wondered what on Earth had happened to them. It had been of those rare cases in which
Nicole, the graceful upper-ssdy, had showcased her fury to the eyes of other people around her.
Daniel then put down the wine list, and the waitress dared not urge him to make the order.
"I take that you''re here to see how I flirt with other women, aren''t you?" said Sven. He changed his
usual naughty look, and then seriously held the pretty waitress who was next to him into his arms.
The pretty waitress hadn''t expected this, and all of a sudden she dropped and sat on Sven''s legs.
Nicole silently looked at what happened in front of her, with her fists clenched tight.
"Sven, what''re you doing?" scolded Daniel. He cast a cold nce onto the woman in Sven''s arms, and
the woman immediately stood up from his legs, and lowered her head and stepped back.
If there hadn''t been so many other people around that would be offended, the waitress wouldn''t have
let go of Sven, the wealthy man, so easily.
When Sally saw Nicole clenching her fists, she held her, and said, "Sister, don''t be angry..."
Nicole then tried to restrain her distressed feeling and then turned around to smile at Sally, and said,
"I''m not angry, he can do whatever he wants. I have nothing to do with it."

Then she waved to the waitress, and said, "Please go, and Mr. Sven will make the payment for itter."

Daniel felt that he''d better not intervene in the couple''s private affairs. He nced at Sven, but Sven

J and Ang Si exchanged nces, then Ang ran up to Nicole and pulled her over, and said,
"Sister-inw,e, let''s drink... this! That brandy is for men!"
While randomly pointing at a ss of cocktail with a low alcohol content, Ang asked Nicole''s if she

Sally looked at the excited women, but when she had another look at her swollen belly, she quickly
gave up on the idea of joining them.
When she saw that all were against her, Nicole had to give up, and said, "Okay."
In a generous manner, Ang said, "Waitress, please bring us ten sses of this White Lady Cocktail!"
and then added, "It''s Mr. Sven''s treat!"
Her words made all the other women there burst intoughter.
When he saw Nicole giving up on the strong brandy, Daniel took a nce at the waitress, who was also
looking at him, and waiting for his agreement, and nodded at her.
Sally rested her chin in her hands, and while looking at Jerry, she asked, "Could I order some red
wine? Are you going to let me drink water all evening?"
"Yes, you''re so smart!" Jerry then pinched Sally''s nose, and called in the waitress to bring some more
water for her.

Sally felt speechless, and she wanted to give birth to the baby as soon as possible.
Then, Sally shook away Jerry and also squeezed herself beside Selina.
"Sister-inw, let''s toast!" J raised her ss, and while calling to Sally, she proposed a toast to all
the other women present there.
Jerry saw Nicole drink her ss of cocktail, moved closer to Sven''s side, and asked, "What had
happened? You two were doing just fine yesterday."
Daniel also took a cold nce at Sven, who was unusually silent.
Nicole was Daniel''s elder sister. If Sven had done anything wrong to his sister, even he was his good
friend, Daniel wouldn''t let him go off easily!
"Well!" Sven slightly let out a sound, and then raised his ss of whisky and gulped half of it.
Last night hadn''t turned out to be the best for them. Sven had seen a man kissing Nicole, but without
knowing the real reason, Nicole hadn''t refused him!
Sven gave the man a heavy punch, but he hadn''t expected that Nicole would protect the man herself!
Remembering this, Sven then gulped down the other half of his whisky. His whole ss of whisky had
been drunk in just two mouthfuls.
"Sven, don''t drink too much!" Daniel kicked at Sven''s leather shoes.
But Sven didn''t pay any attention to him, and instead filled his ss with liquor again.
Since they had gotten married, this was the first time that he had had such a serious quarrel with
Nicole.
"Sven, if Nicole will be drunkter, and you are also drunk, how will you drive her back?" Jerry frowned,
and thought, ''Aren''t you a doctor, Sven? Don''t you know that it''s bad for your stomach to gulp so much
liquor so fast?''
"Drive who? She won''t be willing to go back home with me!" yelled Sven. Nicole had taken their child
and had gone back to her mother''s manor the previous night!
She initially didn''t want toe to this gathering, but she was forced toe there by Sven in a

"If she won''t go back with you, then are you going to let another man take her away?" asked Jerry.
These words seemed to have hit Sven''s wound.
He suddenly smashed his ss onto the ground, as if he wanted to release all of his built-up anger and
frustration.
The shattering sound wasn''t that loud, but it still shocked everyone present in the room.
They had seldom seen Sven wearing such a dark face.
Nicole kept on sipping on her cocktail in silence, and acted as if she hadn''t seen Sven''s moves.
"Nicole, if you still love him, then say it out loud, now!" Sven felt annoyed, and while he turned off the
music, he started shouting at Nicole, distressed.
The whole room was now locked in a dead silence.
Nicole raised her head to look at the ceiling, to prevent her tears from pouring down her cheeks.
She then stood up from the sofa and was just about to leave.
Ang and J hastily stopped Nicole, and Ang stared at her brother, and yelled, "Brother! What''s
wrong with you? Can''t you mind your words for a second?"
"Mind my words?" scornfully said Sven.
He had minded his words the other night, but Nicole hadn''t given him one more exnation to what
had really happened!
Nicole couldn''t tolerate his unreasonable anger, and she got rid of their hands. Taking her handbag,
she went towards the door.
"Nicole, if you dare to step out this door today, I will never forgive you!" Sven was now feeling very
uneasy.
Daniel kicked his leg again, and warned him to watch his manners.
Nicole adjusted her emotions, stood well on her feet, and turned around to smile at Sven. In a low
voice, she said, "Okay, Sven. If you won''t forgive me, then we will... divorce!"
''Divorce?''!
They were all dumbfounded from what they had heard. What had happened between them? How could
