Chapter 261 What a Father You are


    Miss Qin had never believed that J would go easy on anybody who had dared bully her own


    daughter.


    "Who did that to you?" asked J, after seeing the prints on Miss Qin''s face.


    Miss Qin shook her head, and said, "I''m fine, but I can''t let her bully our little princess!"


    Seeing her mom, Melissa soon stopped crying.


    "Mommy, it''s her! She''s the one!" Melissa pointed at Sabina, with her arms around J''s neck.


    J lovingly wiped the tears off Melissa''s face. "Okay, baby, don''t cry."


    She then walked to Sabina and pped her.


    Sabina was shocked.


    However, before she could even realize what had just happened, J pped her again over the


    other side of her face.


    The secretaries were frozen by the sound of the two loud ps.


    Miss Qin then pulled Melissa in her arms, so that she wouldn''t see what was going on in the office.


    J dialed a number on her cellphone and Spark hastily came over to her.


    He was very worried, but when he saw Melissa, he felt slightly relieved.


    But he could still sense that something was terribly wrong.


    Daniel was in a meeting when his mobile started vibrating.


    Seeing the caller''s name, he decided to take it.


    "Daniel! Is this how you look after your kid? Your kid''s been beaten up in your ownpany''s building


    and you don''t even know about it! What a father you are!" Hearing the word "beaten up", the look in


    Daniel''s eyes was afire.


    "Where did it happen?" After he finished his phone call, he quickly walked out of the meeting room.


    The executives were puzzled, and were wondering what had happened.


    J then hung up. The room was so quiet that one could even hear a needle drop on the floor.


    Nobody had ever yelled at Daniel before.


    Sabina decided not to fight with J and wanted to leave.


    But J stopped her in her tracks, and said, "Apologize to Miss Qin, my daughter, and me!"


    Sabina just pushed her arm away; she was very afraid of Daniel.


    By now, Spark had figured out what had really happened. ''I''ll be damned!'' he thought.


    "Get security, " he said to one of the secretaries standing behind him.


    At that moment, Daniel appeared.


    His heart shattered to pieces when he saw his daughter''s tearful eyes.


    In her father''s arms, Melissa said, "Daddy, that woman is horrible!" and she pointed at Sabina, again.


    "Everything will be okay now sweetie. Daddy''s here." Daniel wiped the tears off her cheeks, And said to


    the secretaries, "Go back to work."


    He also noticed the mark on Miss Qin''s face.


    Sabina had intended to leave as soon as possible, but when she saw the suit that Daniel was wearing,


    she got excited all of a sudden, and thought that her chance had finallye. "Daniel, you still have


    this suit."


    She had saved months to buy that suit, and she hadn''t forgotten about it.


    J watched Sabina skeptically.


    Daniel opened the door to an office, and he said to Spark, "Bring her in."


    Sabina was pushed in, and J followed.


    Sabina went to Daniel, and said, "Daniel, I always knew that you cared about me." ''Otherwise, why


    keep this suit and decide to wear it on the next day after my return?''


    Hearing what Sabina had said, J was disappointed. She was just about to go and take her


    daughter from Daniel, when Sabina saidcently, "I bought this suit for Daniel. I bet you didn''t


    know that!"


    J''s extending hand stopped in the air; she watched Daniel.


    Daniel tried to grab her hand, but she pulled it back.


    "But do you know why Daniel is wearing this suit?" J sneered.


    "Of course, it''s because he''s thinking of me!"

    Spark looked at Daniel, afraid.


    Melissa had already put her arm around Spark''s neck, and said, "Thank you, uncle Spark."


    Spark carried her in his arms and left the office rapidly, To let Melissa know about what the adults were


    going to do as little as possible.


    Sitting on the couch and smoking, Daniel thought about what to do with the woman who had hurt his


    daughter.


    J approached Sabina, and asked, "Which hand did you use to hit my daughter?"


    She would''ve done everything to seek justice for her daughter.


    Sabina ran to Daniel, and anxiously exined, "Daniel, I didn''t hit her. She bit me first and it hurt, so I...

    "Why did she bite you?" asked Daniel coldly.


    She innocently replied, "I don''t know. I was talking with your secretary. Then she came up to me and bit

    He asked again, "Who hit Miss Qin?"


    "She was not only framing me for stealing confidential files out of your office, but also disrespected me,


    so I lost my temper with her. But look, I was also pped by her!"


    She viciously pointed at J, who was standing in the office, calmly.


    Daniel looked at Sabina, feeling he had known so little about this malicious woman.


    Miss Qin had worked with him for years; she would''ve been thest person who would''ve disrespected

    "You deserved it, " said Daniel.
