Now she claims she鈥檚 never met you before.Then, the zombie apocalypse happens.Add to this the secret super-soldier serum the military has you on is running out, and the withdrawal symptoms are killer!So, there you are, trying to protect your family and the friends who just happened to stop by for dinner on Z Day.Still, you need to find a safer place to hole up, as you鈥檝e seen enough zombie movies to know your house in the city won鈥檛 last long. Then your ex-girlfriend says her boss has a small compound in the Texas hill country that sounds like the perfect zombie-proof fortress. The thing is, he鈥檚 not the sharing type. Did I mention my ex and her boss are both vampires?Leave sucks.This book is written to be entertaining. If you鈥檙e looking for something to have fun with that includes a crazy, fourth-wall-breaking character (see, I didn鈥檛 leave you out), this is it.BUT BE WARNED:No, we didn鈥檛 have a professional editor (couldn鈥檛 afford one.) They say editing is never done; I've been editing for what seems like years now. I'm having to stop because the characters want me to keep telling their story and are tired of watching me run grammar/spelling checks.Yes, this is our first published work.Yes, there are zombies in this book. And vampires. And other鈥?hings.Yeah, I know I鈥檓 talking in the plural because the characters in my head won鈥檛 shut up for five minutes so I can finish this!Yes, this has been published on big A, but I'm posting it here to try and get some constructive criticism and hook new readers.
