Vincent replied with a few words, but his gaze was mostly on Ranita. As males havemon traits
in some areas, Brendon quickly noticed that Vincent''s eyes on Ranita were not quite right.
"Mr. Ramos, it seems like you''re very interested in my... trantor, Ranita," Brendon tapped the
table with his fingers and held onto Ranita''s hand under the table.
Ranita tried to shake it off but he held onto her tighter and rubbed her fingertips while resting his
hand on her thigh.
Ranita''s heart raced to her throat and half of her eyes turned red as she red at Brendon. She
was both delicate and beautiful which made Brendon want to hold onto her tightly so that Vincent
wouldn''t look at her again.
Vincent sat across from them feeling frustrated as he watched Ranita''s shy expression. Was
Brendon the person that she said she liked?
"Mr. Stuart, you''re too imposing so I had no choice but to look at my junior, Ranita. Sorry about
that," Vincent smiled at Ranita without losingposure or elegance; he even nced over at
Brendon provocatively.

"Ranita, can you make me a cup of coffee? I want you to brew it yourself," Brendon dismissed
Ranita who felt like something wasn''t right with the atmosphere and said softly, "Mr. Stuart, Vincent
is excellent. There won''t be any problem if he takes over my work..."
Brendon became even more unhappy when this bad woman helped speak up for Vincent!
"Don''t worry. I won''t give Mr. Ramos a hard time." Saying this, Brenden suddenly pulled on Ranita''s
shoulder causing him to lean forward until their noses almost touched...

Ranita''s heart beat wildly - could it be possible that he wanted to kiss her in front of Vincent?!
"What happened?" Just as Ranita was about to move away from him, Brenden pressed down on
Ranita''s shoulders while lightly flicking off some dust from them saying, "There''s some white dust
here."
"Ahh... is there? Thank you." Ranita felt embarrassed. What was she thinking just now!? Her face
burned hotly as she hurried out of the conference room.
As soon as the door closed behind them, Brenden''s face instantly turned cold, "Mr. Ramos,
hopefully you won''t have any ideas about Ranita in the future."
Vincent smiled gently and asked without haste, "Mr. Stuart, may I ask who you are to Ranita? Can
you make decision for her? This is the first time I''ve heard of a former boss being involved in
someone''s personal rtionship."
Every word Vincent spoke hit Brendon''s nerve.
In fact, Vincent wasn''t the type to persistently pursue something. It was just Brendon''s attitude that
made him unhappy and caused him to speak out.
"You have nothing to do with Ranita''s rtionship with me, Mr. Ramos. As for whether or not I can
handle her personal issues, why don''t you ask her yourself?"
The favored one always had an air of superiority.
Vincent knew he had lost this battle; his face turned extremely ugly for the first time.
"Mr. Ramos, your resume is impressive and your reputation is excellent. You were highly
rmended by the HR department as a candidate for this position. I believe you are more than
capable of handling this job."
Personal matters should not affect work.
