    Chapter 231 Torment

    Chapter 231 Torment

Ranita''s heart sank to the bottom of the valley.

"Ranita... you remember me? That''s great!" Turner''s eyes were bloodshot as he got out of his

    wheelchair, his empty sleeves pping.

Turner also seemed to have trouble with his legs, walking with a limp.

Ranita stepped back, but her ankle chain reached its limit. She pulled hard a few times, but it was

useless except for causing pain in her ankles.

"Hehe!" Turner smirked sinisterly. "Ranita, you didn''t expect this day woulde, did you?"

He approached step by step and stepped on the iron chain. His twisted face was full of venting

pleasure, "Being tied up like a dog by me and slowly tortured!"

"Turner, you''re crazy! Do you know what you''re doing?" Ranita had rested for two days but barely

ate or drank water. Her throat was dry and her once fair face looked haggard.

But she had good bones and superior features; even in distress she still retained some beauty.

    Fire shed in Turner''s eyes.

"I know exactly what I''m doing! Look at me - my hands are disabled and my legs aren''t good either.

I''ll be useless from now on unless I have someone like you to take care of me! You used to be

Brendon''s wife; now stay here forever serving me for the rest of your life while helping this cripple

    bear children."

"Are you happy about that Ranita?"

As he spoke, Turnerughed crazily, "If it weren''t for you how could I have fallen into such misery!?

You owe me so just pay it back with your remaining years!"

Was this guy really insane? Did he n on imprisoning her forever?

"Turner let go of me! I won''t mention anything about what happened here if Brendones looking

for me. Otherwise, your legs will not be safe," said Ranita whose throat felt tight while her ankle

chains chafed against her skin causing redness which hurt when moved around too much.

"You''ve been at Bouldend Mansion for so many years; you should understand Brendon''s

    character better than I do."

Turner smirked, his contorted face looking even more terrifying. "Are you threatening me? Well, it

depends on whether you hold any significance in Brendon''s eyes."

"You''ve been missing for so many days. Are you sure he''s looking for you? Maybe he''s happy! The

troublesome ex-wife has finally disappeared, and Miss Murphy is now even more justified, isn''t

    she?"

Turner seemed oblivious to how repulsive his face was, continuously getting closer to Ranita.

Ranita felt nauseous, as if she might throw up.

"Don''t believe me?" Turnerughed with a raspy sound from his throat and shouted outside, "Bring

    the phone in for me!"

The elderly woman outside lowered her head and handed the phone over, only to be harshly

scolded by Turner, "Can''t you see? Give it to this bitch!"

The old woman trembled and passed the phone to Ranita.

Ranita took it and instantly felt a wave of darkness wash over her eyes. She bit her lip as if being

cut by a knife, while Turner continuedughing mockingly at her, "See that? Brendon doesn''t have

time for you! He''s busy with his beloved ying music together happily as a family! As for you..."

"You''ll spend your life in this godforsaken mountain valley and end up nothing but mud!"

"Ranita, you''ll never be able to get rid of me in this lifetime!"

Turnerughed heartily, clearly feeling very pleased with himself.

Meanwhile, Ranita held onto the phone tightly and tried hard to keep calm. When Turner wasn''t

paying attention, she quickly opened the keypad and made a call for help.
