Chapter 180 Stirring Up Trouble
Chapter 180 Stirring Up Trouble
Paityn wore a malicious smile on her face. She was very active on social media and never feared
being watched. She continued speaking, undeterred by the attention she was attracting, "Ah, it was
mainly because I was impressed by that dress. I immediately remembered you, Miss Bowman."
Her tone carried a hint of contempt, as if to say that if it weren''t for Ranita imitating Shannon by
wearing a simr dress, she wouldn''t even spare a nce at Ranita!
Ranita maintained aposed expression and replied calmly, "Thank you for your kind words, Ms.
Sutton."
Ranita remained unmoved.
"Heh... Miss Bowman, you''re quite interesting!" Paityn felt disgusted. She wasn''t sure if Ranita
genuinely couldn''t understand her sarcasm or if she was pretending not to. Initially, she had
intended to mock Ranita, but now she felt frustrated instead.
"Thank you for your praise!" Ranita responded lightly.
Paityn was further infuriated.
"Ms. Sutton, why don''t you take a seat? You''re blocking the people behind you!" Brendon couldn''t
bear it any longer and reminded Paityn.
Brendon sat next to Ranita while Paityn sat across from them separated by an aisle seat.
Ranita ignored Paityn''s asional hostile nces and asked the flight attendant for a nket
before drifting off to sleep. She was exhausted. The ne ride was smooth, and Ranita slept
soundly until Brendon woke her up with a shout, "Have some food!" He handed her a cup of coffee.
"Thanks," she said, taking the cup but not drinking it. After breakfast, she asked the flight attendant
to rece it with warm water so she could continue sleeping.
Paityn tried several times to pick fights with Ranita but failed each time.
The nended, and Ranita went to the restroom. As soon as she entered, Paitynughed behind
her back, "Young people these days have such thick skin."
Ranita didn''t respond; instead, she focused on doing her own thing.
She decided not to engage with Paityn. After all, what could Paityn do to her? They didn''t have any
personal grudges, and it wouldn''t be appropriate to resort to physical violence.
As for the verbal attacks, in this day and age, everyone encountered people who didn''t like them. It
was best to brush it off and not let it bother her. Calling them names would be stooping to their level.
"Miss Bowman!" Unexpectedly, Paityn stopped her in the hallway.
"What is it?" Ranita looked at Paityn coldly yet elegantly like an aristocraticdy from a wealthy
family.
"It''s nothing," said Paityn spitefully. "I just can''t stand people who have such thick skin."
"After what happenedst time," continued Paityn maliciously while referring to Shannon and
Brendon''s rtionship that everyone knew about in their social circle. "I thought you wouldn''t dare
show your face around Mr. Stuart again! But here you are sticking closer than ever!"

"It''s just work," replied Ranita coolly before walking past Paityn out of the restroom without another
word spoken between them.
Brendon always prioritized his work over everything else; after getting off the ne, he went straight
to Qaesburg''s branch office for meetings while Ranita headed directly towards Allen''s hospital
room.
The Stuart family treated Ranita poorly or even badly at times because of their prejudice against
outsiders marrying into their family circle. However, Allen was different - he had always been kind-
hearted towards his cousin''s wife calling her "sister-inw" affectionately.
"Sister-inw! Is that really you? Why are you here?" Alleny on his bed smiling brightly despite
having one arm cast and bruises all over his face.
In the Stuart family, Brendon was considered good-looking, and the others also had attractive
appearances. Even Holly, who can be quite explosive at times, had a decent face.
Allen had gotten a bit tanned, but he appeared to be in good spirits.
"I came with Brendon," Allen said.
"What? My cousin is here? Wasn''t he supposed toe tomorrow? Why did hee now? Ahhh!"
Allen grabbed his hair in frustration, his face drooping.
