"Mr. Stuart, you certainly have a firm grasp on things," Ranita replied casually.
Brendon''s heart felt like it might burst, leaving him speechless in response.
The remainder of the journey was filled with silence between the two of them.
As they approached Stuart''s Corp, Ranita suddenly remembered something. "Mr. Stuart, by staying
at Stuart''s Corp, I''ve caused trouble for you and Miss Murphy. Shouldn''t we be searching for a
recement from HR?"
Finally finding his voice, Brendon responded calmly, "Absolutely! HR has already reached out to
headhunters to find a recement before you depart."
Brendon was bing stubborn. He couldn''t fathom how apany asrge as Stuart''s Corp
couldn''t function without Ranita.
"Is that so? Then I''ll wait patiently!" With that, Ranita exited the car and headed straight for the
elevator without even ncing back at Brendon.
Confused and angry, he followed behind her.
In the past, she would have waited by the car door for him to apany her. Was she truly
unwilling to grant him any more patience? His expression turned cold as he watched her step into
the employee elevator without acknowledging him.
"Wait! Why are you taking the employee elevator?"
Brendon managed to wedge his foot between the closing doors.
Ranita raised an eyebrow at him. "Mr. Stuart, this is quite dangerous."
"Come out!"
Ranita remained unmoved.
Brendon''s emotions were typically steady, neither sad nor happy, but now Ranita had provoked him
to the point where he felt like a hot air balloon ready to ascend with a single spark!
Ranita pointed to the surveince camera above, raising her eyebrows and signaling him to let go
quickly, or they would be caught gossiping.
Brendon clenched his jaw and took a step, entering the elevator.
Fortunately, although the staff elevator and exclusive elevator were separate, they were identical in

Ranita remained silent, catching a glimpse of the man''s reflection on the elevator wall from the

This man was so petty.
Previously, she would asionally get distracted and nce at him, but he never seemed to notice,

normal for me to asionally nce at you." Ranita tried to salvage her dignity, swearing that if
Brendon continued to argue, she would genuinely pack up and leave tomorrow.
Brendon seemed convinced and remained silent.
However, Ranita could sense that the man had been staring at her the entire time. His gaze was
already piercing, but being looked at so directly made her feel as though he was scrutinizing every
inch of her from head to toe. Ranita''s heart raced, and she frowned in displeasure. "Mr. Stuart, have
you seen enough?"
To her surprise, Brendon retorted with her own words verbatim and even shed a smirk. "Besides
me, you''re the only other living person in the elevator. It''s normal for me to asionally nce at
you."
