    Ranita woke up feeling thirsty. Her throat was sore, her head heavy, and her breath felt like it was


    on fire. She reached for her phone and realized she had a fever.


    Last night, instead of going to Dn''s ce, Ranita stayed at a hotel. Dn didn''t want her to be


    alone so he booked the room next to hers.


    As soon as she turned on her phone, she saw that it was already past 10 am and there were


    several missed calls and messages waiting for her.


    "Hello? Mr. Stuart? What''s up?" Ranita answered the call while holding onto the bedpost for


    support.


    "Miss Bowman, are you okay? Your voice sounds hoarse," Caleb Stuart asked with concern.

    "What about Brendon?" Ranita asked while rummaging through her luggage for clothes.
