Hospital ward!
Zhi Qi sat in front of the bed, locked eyes with Fang Xiaocao, while Su Wanqing, Yun Luoshu, and Wen Shi each sat on their respective beds, curiously watching the two.
The atmosphere in the ward was somewhat off!
The three stooges had sensed it too.

Su Wanqing blinked at Fang Xiaocao, signaling her to stay calm.

Fang Xiaocao raised her voice and yelled.
“Shush!”
“This is a hospital, keep it quiet.”
Zhi Qi made a shushing gesture, smiling.

“Don’t you go too far!”
Fang Xiaocao puffed up and shouted.
“Shush!”
“Keep it quiet!”
Zhi Qi repeated the same gesture.

Completely speechless, this woman just wouldn’t argue with her.
“You win…”
Fang Xiaocao said helplessly.
“When are we leaving.”
Fang Xiaocao asked weakly.
“Yay–”
The three stooges cheered.
Fang Xiaocao had agreed, and the happiest weren’t Zhi Qi but the three stooges munching on melons at the back.
Hearing the cheers of the three stooges, Fang Xiaocao red at them fiercely.
Frightened by her re, the three stooges instantly fell silent.
“Tomorrow!”
Zhi Qi said, smiling.
“At what time?”
Fang Xiaocao asked as she rolled her eyes.
“Nine in the morning, I’lle to pick you four up.”
Zhi Qi raised her eyebrows and answered with a smile.
“Get lost!”
Fang Xiaocao pointed toward the door of the ward and said.
“Disappear from my sight right now, immediately, before I change my mind.”
Fang Xiaocao said each word deliberately.
“Alright, alright, can’t I just leave?”
Zhi Qi surrendered with her hands up,ughing as she headed towards the exit of the ward.
“Hurry up!”
Fang Xiaocaomanded, puffing up her little face.
“OK, OK–”
“Right now, immediately!”
Zhi Qi went onughing as she walked out of the ward, and thoughtfully closed the door for Fang Xiaocao and the others.
“You guys are stillughing?”
Fang Xiaocao red at the three stooges.
“Hehe–”
The three stooges responded with goofy smiles.
“I’ll give you something tough about!”
Fang Xiaocao grabbed a pillow and lunged at the adjacent bed’s Su Wanqing.
“I’ll give you something tough about!”
“I’ll give you something to bet on!”
“I’ll give you something to agree for me!”
Fang Xiaocao vented all her anger on Su Wanqing alone.
Yun Luoshu and Wen Shi, the two fools, were cracking melon seeds intently while watching Fang Xiaocao’s big battle with Husky.
“My bad–”
“Ouch, I was wrong–”
Being “violently beaten” by Fang Xiaocao, Su Wanqing kept begging for mercy.
“Hmph!”
Fang Xiaocao huffed indignantly.
“You two, stillughing?”
Fang Xiaocao red at the two fools and yelled.
Yun Luoshu and Wen Shi immediately covered their mouths.
“We’re notughing anymore, we stopped.”
Yun Luoshu and Wen Shi said, shaking their heads.
“You three just sold me out like that?”
Fang Xiaocao ced her hands on her hips and angrily interrogated.

Wen Shi blinked,ughing as he spoke.

Su Wanqing said cheerfully.

Yun Luoshu nodded in agreement.
Fang Xiaocao was driven crazy by anger.
The three stooges had actually agreed to Zhi Qi’s invitation to go out behind her back.
Of course, it was just a travel n, so Fang Xiaocao wasn’t freaking out.
What made Fang Xiaocao freak out was that the three stooges were bought off by Zhi Qi over this travel n, and told Zhi Qi all about the embarrassing things she had done since starting university, all in painstaking detail.
Even the embarrassing incident of crying because a stic bag outside the window scared her during a midnight bathroom run was narrated with vivid detail.
This directly resulted in Fang Xiaocao, upon her return, socially ‘dying’ on the spot under Zhi Qi’s amused gaze.
Fang Xiaocao eximed, “Badpany corrupts good character!”
Sold out by her three treacherous friends.
Thinking back to the WeChat chatst night, where she had just established a persona of a high-IQ, talented youngdy with Zhi Qi, and how it had copsed spectacrly within 24 hours because of her friends’ betrayal, Fang Xiaocao felt like she had socially ‘died’.
Especially when facing Zhi Qi’s mocking smirk, Fang Xiaocao awkwardly ‘dug a Forty-Nine City’ with her toe.
She had never been more embarrassed…
That’s why Fang Xiaocao was so furious!
The next day!
Fang Xiaocao, sound asleep, was awakened by the noisy chatter of the three stooges.
Fang Xiaocao sat up groggily and checked the time on her phone.
Early morning: 06:25!
She rubbed her eyes and looked again.
Fang Xiaocao flopped back onto the hospital bed, feeling lifeless.
“You three have had enough!”
“Not sleeping, what are you fussing about?”
Fang Xiaocao called out weakly.
“What sleep? Wake up, get up!”
Su Wanqing shouted boisterously.
“Get up, my foot!”
“Big sister, we agreed on nine o’clock!”
“It’s not even six-thirty yet.”
Fang Xiaocao rolled her eyes andined.
“We know it’s supposed to be at nine!”
“But you have to drive us to school to get our luggage.”
Su Wanqing said cheerily.
“Huh?”
“Isn’t it just for one day?”
“What clothes to take?”
Hearing this, Fang Xiaocao paused, confused.
At this moment, Fang Xiaocao had a bad feeling.
“Who told you it’s for one day?”
“It’s for seven days!”
“Do you think our friendship is only worth one day?”
Su Wanqing said matter-of-factly.

“Seven days!”
Fang Xiaocao eximed.

Wen Shi nodded and said.
“You’re not going to school anymore?”

“Medical leave has been arranged in advance, what is there to worry about?”

“Aren’t you afraid of failing?”
Fang Xiaocao blinked, shocked.
“Afraid of what?”
“Anyway, we’re art students.”
“At worst, we’ll catch up when we get back.”
Su Wanqing said nonchntly.
“Cultural subjects can be made up for, but camping trips aren’tmon.”
Wen Shi added helpfully.
Fang Xiaocao stared at the three in disbelief, utterly shocked.
“Hurry up and get up, go and grab a couple of clothes too.”
Su Wanqing urged.
“Not that…”
“Are you serious?”
Fang Xiaocao asked again, dumbfounded.
“Of course we’re serious!”
Su Wanqing nodded affirmatively.
Fang Xiaocao: “6!”
As for studying, Fang Xiaocao wasn’t worried.
She had always been top of the ss, so failing was out of the question.
But as for the three stooges, that’s a different story.
When they didn’t skip sses, stuck to the lectures, and yed their cards right, they could barely keep up with the cultural subjects.
If they were to take medical leave like this…
Falling behind by ten days or so would certainly result in failing, no question about it.
“Surely we haven’te to that?”
“I could take you out during the holidays too!”
“There’s no need to joke about our studies!”

“Stop fussing, get out of bed!”

“Just missing a few sses, we can catch up in a few days when we get back, don’t spoil the fun~”
