Chapter 831: 414 Silence Witness_1
“Useless, all of them are useless.”
With rage came an inkpot flying, striking Belen Philbert on the forehead. Too terrified to retort, she lowered her head even further.
“Delete every single posts on the inte, every single one of them. I will dig up whoever is behind these posts. If they dare to spread rumors about me, I will make sure they want to die but aren’t able to.”
The woman’s anger was palpable. Her usuallyposed demeanor was gone, her furious expressionparable to a cat with its tail trodden on.
Furious.
“Madam, the opposition has top-tier hackers on their side. It will take some time for our team to prate their firewalls.”
“What did you say?” Virginia Frost seemed to have heard a joke, herughter saturated with sarcasm.
“The Security Bureau has the world’s most advancedputer experts, and you’re telling me we can’t break their firewalls? Is this a joke to you?”
Belen Philbert was speechless. Even the most skillfulputer experts would likely struggle against top-tier hackers.
It’s only when disaster struck, did she realize she was surrounded by ipetence.
“Madam, the worst part isn’t even this. Summer International has endorsed The Rintos’ industries. Given Summer International’s reputation and status domestically, our ns may have fallen apart.”
Belen Philbert was also shocked. No wonder Agave Rinto had seemed so calm; he had a backup n in mind.
“Who does Summer International think they are, daring to oppose me?” Virginia Frost said through gritted teeth.
Madam…” Belen Philbert cautioned, ” Please be careful with your words. The ones backing Summer International domestically are high-ranking officials. They’re not ones to trifled with.”
Summer International and The Rintos were two extremes that seemed impossible to connect. Nobody expected they had been undercover allies for a while, catching everyone off guard.
Who would’ve connected these two extremes?
At that moment, Virginia Frost’s phone rang abruptly as if signaling danger.
Virginia Frost answered the call with a grim face.

There was silence on the other end, yet this almost oppressive silence somehow felt choking.
ncing at the caller ID, Virginia noticed a strange number from Lostswa.
Virginia Frost was already in a foul mood and wasn’t patient, “Who is this?”
Just as she was about to hang up, a deep middle-aged male voice came from the other end of the line.
“Madam Frost, do you not recognize me anymore?”
The voice carried the undeniable authority of someone long in a powerful position, pressuring her almost to the point where she found it hard to breathe.
Virginia Frost narrowed her eyes. Her excellent memory allowed her to identify the man behind the voice.
“So it’s General Lewis.
Virginia Frost moved towards the window, looking out at the nighttime scenery, “I wonder, why is General Lewis looking for me at this time?”
“What for? Virginia Frost, look at the mess you’ve made in Pethkids. Personal revenge, abuse of power, breaching thew knowingly, causing incredibly negative public sentiment. You’ve tainted our organization and our nation’s face. Do you still have the face to ask me?”
The man’s stern questioning hit her like a ton of bricks.
Virginia Frost sucked in a breath, “General Lewis, you misunderstood….”
“Misunderstood? Do you think everyone else is a fool? The opinion on the inte is unanimous, causing public resentment to boil over and causing our national credibility to fall. Can you bear this responsibility? Stop your actions immediately, put an end to this conflict, and go to Lostswa for an investigation within three days. Otherwise, the consequences are on you.”
The call ended with his words.
A mechanical busy tone sounds from her mobile phone.
Virginia Frost stood there dumbfounded, “Allen Lewis, what’s your business with this?”
Hearing this name, a chill ran down Belen Philbert’s spine. She understood that Madam Frost had been thoroughly defeated this time.
In the next moment, Virginia Frost threw her phone out with all her strength.
“Madam…” said Belen Philbert as she approached, fear clearly showing on her face.
“Agave Rinto, well-yed. Only now do I realise that you have the backing of such a powerful person as Allen Lewis, I’ve underestimated you.”
“Madam, the public opinion is bing more and more intense. Even some citizens are spontaneously gathering outside the Police Department, demanding Agave Rinto’s release. I’m afraid the situation may worsen if we dy things.” Said Bartlett Parker as rushed in, his face and forehead covered in sweat.
This incident had be too big.
Eager to confiscate Starlyn Aria, only to find out that high-ranking officials of Summer International were behind them, took all the courage away from him, forcing him to leave disgracefully.
In the current society, whoever holds the public opinion holds the logic.
But he didn’t expect that with all the talented people under Madam Fry, they still managed to lose the battle of public opinion.
