    Chapter 138 Be Followed


    Shirley went to the private maternity hospital where she had been frequently for an antenatal check up


    with May.


    While waiting for the check–up, May held Shirley’s hand and felt her pulse. May said, “Your pulse is


    strong, and the children in your belly should be fine. Ms. Wilson, don’t scare yourself because of a


    dream.”


    Shirley nodded, still worried. “I know that my two children will be fine. After all, I am in good health. But


    I always feel uneasy and that something is going to happen.”


    “Don’t jinx it. You have to believe in the medical skills of the Thompson family. Even a serious illness


    could be cured by my prescription. Don’t worry.”


    “That’s right. May, you are a genius doctor. With you, I don’t have to worry about anything.”


    Shirley finally felt more at ease. She got up and entered the examination room.
