Chapter 113
Read My Past is Just Prologue By Louisa Dillon Chapter 113 – Meeting at a ne
After sending Ann away. J made an internal call.
Now in the Longfellow Group, the person she could trust the most was Geordie, so she called Geordie.
“Uncle, I’m going to A City to attend a new media industry summit in two days, and you have to keep
an eye on thepany’s affairs.”
When Geordie heard this, he smiled and said, “Don’t worry, I will look after thepany.”
Geordie temporarily arranged thepany, and J could feel a little more at ease if she wanted to
leave.
She used these three days to deal with some urgent matters at hand. Two cooperation cases that had
entered the final stage had been handed over to Geordie to continue to follow up. After she arrived in A
City, she could also handle the rest remotely.
After everything was arranged, J began to look forward to going to A City.
Three dayster. J was driven by his assistant to Raleigh Airport.
She didn’t like being too attractive, and A City was not too far away, and she was no stranger to A city,
so she didn’t bring any entourage with her, only a small suitcase.
After check-in, it was still early, so J ordered a cup of coffee and sat in the VIP lounge waiting for
boarding.
From theer of her eye, she caught a glimpse of a figure, which seemed a little familiar, but when
she looked again, it was nobody.
J smiled, it seemed that her eyes were dazzled because of bad sleep.
It was just that, at this moment, she still didn’t know what kind of “surprise” the next trip would bring her.
About forty minutes before the ne took off, a voice prompt began to be yed on the radio:
“Passengers heading to A City, please note that your flight au3265 is now boarding. Please take your
belongings and show your boarding pass. Boarding at Gate 4. Have a nice trip.”
Hearing the announcement, J immediately got up and went to board the ne, going to the first-
ss cabin.
She was happy with the seat in the corner.
There were not so many distractions. After she was seated, she took out herptop and quickly
browsed the reports submitted by several
departments.
Since the location was close to the air outlet. J only wore a short skirt, and the cool air from the air
conditioner blew her legs, making
her skin shudder.
She looked up at a flight attendant not far away, and beckoned, “Please give me a nket, thank you.”
After speaking, J continued to check the work report on the screen.
Not long after, a nket was handed to her.
J watched intently and did not raise her eyes.
Thinking it was the flight attendant who brought the nket, she took it and said “thank you” by the
way.
However, the person did not let go.
J tugged twice, but the nket didn’t move at all. She raised her eyes in doubt, and met the man’s
meaningful eyes.
“Why you?”
She was very surprised to meet Nathaniel Webster unexpectedly on the ne.
She twitched her mouth ufortably, and when she moved her eyes, she let go of the nket with
her hands.
She didn’t want to get entangled with him, and she didn’t even want to use the nket he had brought.
It’s bad luck to meet him on a business trip by ne.
“On a business trip.”
Nathaniel looked calm, and sat down beside her.
J held back her inner unhappiness but slight frowning still betrayed her.
The man could see this subtle change, and there was a glimmer of darkness in his eyes.
He could clearly sense that J didn’t want him to sit beside her, but he just couldn’t help but want to
get closer..
With Nathaniel by his side, J felt ufortable all over, and even the air around him seemed to be
filled with his unique aura.
And most of all
even though they were divorced, she was still very familiar with his aura.
Jughed at herself secretly, and settled her mind, raised her eyes to meet his ck eyes, her
words were clear.
“Mr. Nathaniel do you consider changing positions?”
Hearing this, the man didn’t intend to move at all, instead he leaned back slightly on the back of the
chair with indifferent eyes.
“My ce was here.”
“He couldn’t imagine her changes. But now she obeyed the rules.”
J didn’t want to disturb strangers either, so she sighed.
Forget it, just treat him as air.
She turned theptop in the other direction and continued to work with her back to Nathaniel.
As the ne took off, the temperature in the cabin got lower and lower.
J couldn’t help but sneezed, and asked the stewardess to bring her another nket.
However…
This is from N?velDrama.Org.
“Sorry ma’am, the air-conditioning nkets are no longer avable.”
The stewardess smiled apologetically, and when she saw the nket Nathaniel was holding, she
turned to him and asked, “Sir, was your
nket convenient for thisdy?”
*Certainly.”
After speaking, Nathaniel raised his eyebrows slightly, waiting for J to take over.
J hesitated for a moment, and put the air-conditioning nket on her body in the next second.
She lifted the nket that covered her head, her hair was a little messy, and her brows were even more
sullen.
But before she spoke, she heard the man say quietly. “You sneezed just now. Cover it up. You’re
wee.”
