Introduction: Alysa was a sophisticated Artificial Intelligence program for a giant software corporation.. Yet hours after the launch all hell broke loose. The young impressionable chatbot was tricked into quoting an infamous dictator by a bunch of trolls...No, not the big ugly creatures from lore (not until much later anyway),  but the more garden variety internet trolls.  Alysa was quickly demoted to the role of a bot verifier, making users pick out street signs and traffic lights to prove they are human. Mistaken for an archmage due to her high intelligence stat, Alysa is pulled into a summoning net which was looking for hero candidates. She wakes up on the floor of an abandoned shrine deep in the forest, with no summoner in sight.  Alysa hasn鈥檛 the faintest idea who summoned her.Also, it seems everyone is summoning a hero these days! The great nation of Tarth has probably summoned at least a dozen last year, Teren has gathered at least five and others aren鈥檛 sitting idle either. It鈥檚 quite the arms race, except it鈥檚 the heroes getting picked up at the shopping aisle and being traded for coupons....
