"I understand. To tell you the truth, my biggest worry is my father. I know my mother will always support
me and she trusts me. But, my father..." Lawrence didn''t go on and his face shone?with gloominess.
Recently, this was the only worry eating him and robbing his peace of mind. He had been with Aria for
a long time but he still hadn''t found the "right time" to inform his parents about her.
"Looking at it from your father''s point of view, he is right to hope that you marry a girl from a family of
equal status. Actually, Aria''s family is indeed..." Greg analyzed. He knew that there was a big gap
between the two families in respect to their social and economic status. At present, Kate was working

"I am caught between them! My parents are on one side and Aria is on the other side. I love all of them

look at Greg and said, "Let us also go home."

After they bid each other goodbye, both went home.

As usual, Lawrence punched in the password and pushed open the door. As he walked into the living

Lawrence with sleepy eyes.
"Why did you fall asleep in the corridor? It is chilly there and you will catch a cold!" Lawrence scolded
her and pretended to be mad at her.
"Oh, I am sorry, darling," Aria said. "I just was very tired after visiting two clients today! I was waiting for
you in the living room ever since I came home. Feeling bored, I wandered into the corridor to look
outside. I didn''t expect to fall asleep as I waited for your return."
"Don''t wait up for me the next time. Go to bed when you are tired, okay?" Lawrence''s voice was tender.
"Okay, I will!" Aria gave him a sweet smile. She then nestled in Lawrence''s arms and said in a flirtatious
tone, "Don''t be mad at me! I really have an important dinner tomorrow evening and I am sorry I can''t go
with you to the charity event. But you know what? If I get the contract tomorrow, my department will
achieve the target and I will get a fat bonus. I am so excited just thinking about it!"
Lawrence was not happy at these words. He retorted, "Do youck money? As my girl you will never
want money. Why do you work so hard? I don''t want?you?to?exhaust?yourself!"
"I know you care about me, but I want to be independent. Fine, let''s not talk about it. I am very happy
now to be with you and work in a job that I love. I am very content, "Aria hastily soothed his ruffled
feathers. There was a twinkle of happiness in her eyes.
"You are truly happy, right?" Lawrence asked.
"Yes, I am. Very, very happy!" Aria replied firmly and with no hesitation.
"Then, you have to make me happy."

Mike was still fast asleep at eight o''clock the next morning. Suddenly, he was awakened by a loud
shout from outside his door.
"Hey, you brat! It is time to rise and shine!" Soren shouted loudly outside Mike''s room. Behind him were
two men in ck suits.
"Oh, my! Let me sleep some more. I slept verytest night. I want to sleep longer," Mike shouted
back, without even opening his eyes. Agitated, he covered his head with his quilt, trying to block out the
noise.
"I don''t care. You must get up right now. You still have a mission!" Soren insisted seriously.
Seeing Mike ignore him, Soren gestured to the men behind him
and the two men immediately walked into Mike''s room.
They pulled Mike out of his bed and propped him up to stand in front of Soren.
"Take him downstairs," Soren ordered.
Still drowsy, Mike was taken downstairs by the men in ck.
They sat him down on the sofa and then left. Mike directly fell on the sofa and tried to go back to sleep.
But when he saw his father sitting in front of him, he reluctantly sat up and rubbed his eyes.
"Father, what are you doing? I am still sleepy. Just let me sleep for a few minutes more, please," Mike
pleaded.
"No. There is no time for that. Drink a cup of hot tea to sober yourself up! Then freshen up. You have a
blind date in half an hour. Nine o''clock at HY Cafe. Table No. 12. I have made all the arrangements for
you," Soren ordered, without giving him a chance to say no.
