Chapter 889 A Talk Between Father And Son (Part One)

Chapter 889 A Talk Between Father And Son (Part One)

"Greg, it''s time that you be a man and support your family, they need your help." Wilson tried to

    encourage him.

"I will try my best, uncle," Greg said in a low voice, his disappointment quite evident.

Selina pondered for a long time even while she was watching Greg, who had kept his head down out of

the shame he was feeling. She then said to him, "Greg, raise your head and look at me. I want to tell

you something, which might help you somehow."

Selina forced Greg to look up and face her so that she could tell him the secret.

Greg had no choice but to turn towards her as he knew that she was very serious this time. He was

waiting to hear what she had to say.

"I got to speak with Violet through phonest night," Selina began to say.

Greg''s eyes popped up when Selina mentioned Violet. He couldn''t help trembling. "Is she all right?" He

looked at Selina and asked in a feeble tone.

Selina nodded and said, "She''s in a pretty good condition now. And, there are some messages that she

wanted me to deliver to you. Do you think you would want to hear what she has to say?"

"Of course! I''m listening to you," Greg immediately answered. He couldn''t think of any other things but

Violet''s operation and her health after the same.

"Violet has heard of your stepmother''s death and she''s worried about you. She wanted you to be strong

in this hour of need, for you have always been a man who she could look at for support. So you

shouldn''t let those issues defeat you or harm your spirit, you know? If you keep being depressed like

this, she will be sad as well," Selina said.

Greg, who was afraid that Violet would be upset because of him, heavily shook his head all the while

listening to Selina. What he wanted right now was to see Violet live happily, even he was not present

    with her.

Selina, knowing that Greg been convinced, caught the opportunity and added, "Violet also asked me to

tell you to courageously face all the problems and wait for her toe back. She said she would return

and things would be normal as before."

Selina said thest sentence in aparatively louder voice so that Greg could understand the

    emphasis on the same.

Greg felt some sort of warmth and confidence springing out from his heart as if someone had brought

him to life again. "Did she really say all this? She said she woulde back to me?Did she really think

that we can stay together again? And did she seriously ask me to wait for her?"

    Greg asked his happiness showing

Wilson didn''t say anything as he was busy watching the emotional Greg. However, he was quite

worried in his heart. He thought, ''Will the lies Selina is saying help Greg or...''

"Of course she did say so. I am your aunt, and I won''t lie to you. Don''t you believe me?" Selina nodded

and then asked in return. She was pretty sure that Greg had believed whatever she had said. There

was no reason for him to mistrust her.

Of course, I believe in you! I really believe in you!" Greg was so excited that he repeated his words

again and again. Light sparkled in his eyes and hisughter would not stop.

"Good, Greg, now you know what you are going to do at this moment, don''t you?" Selina asked in a

very amicable way, which was different from her usual superior and cold attitude. She was like a

mother trying to pacify Greg. "Your Uncle Derek, Mond, me and many other people are here to help

and guide you, so anytime you want us, just call, don''t hesitate at all, okay?" She added.

Okay, I know. Thank you so much, aunt Selina." Greg, who was by now encouraged by Selina, finally

    burst out.

"Greg, how about having your aunt Selina helping you in managing the XS Hospital while you handled

your family affairs? You can go to work after your father is in a better condition and hase out of the

pain," Wilson suggested. Selina was the only one who had the time to manage the XS Hospital. After

all, others were quite busy in their work.

"If aunt Selinaes to help me, what will happen to the H King Group? Can it run well without aunt

Selina''s help and guidance?" Greg was worried that by helping him Selina wouldnd into a trouble

"Don''t worry. Your Uncle Derek could take care of that," Selina immediately answered in a gentle voice,

"Greg, though I don''t have much medical knowledge to boast of, I can deal with some basic

fundamental management stuff. So you can first adjust yourself and solve your family problems. And,

don''t forget what Violet has said."

    "Okay," Greg nodded.

    ......

Wilson and Selina walked out of Greg''s house and drove back home satisfied after the exchange.

"Do you think whatever you said to Greg would harm him?" Wilson seemed a bit worried.

"It won''t," Selina said confidently, "Though I was lying to him, whatever I said worked for Greg. Only by

doing such kind of encouraging words he would change his mind and rise again from his misery."

Wilson fell into silence for he had seen that Greg did change as she said.

"If Violet would have been here, she wouldn''t have been happy to see Greg so depressed and sad.

After all, he''s a smart and promising man who has a great future ahead. We couldn''t let these things

    bring him down," Selina added.

"But we have no idea whether Violet wille back here or not. You asked Greg to wait for her but,

when will the end of his waiting be?" asked Wilson.
