Chapter 840 One Knows Not What To ur (Part One)

Lawrence was on his way to JY Hotel to meet someone. He knew he still had enough time before the

so-called meeting started but he preferred to be the first one to arrive to settle himself. He was in his

car but his mind was somewhere else. s, he arrived in JY Hotel. He veered his car to the driveway

and took another quick look at the rear view mirror before alighting from the car. As he stepped out of

the car, he handed the key to the Valet and walked straight to the hotel main lobby door and he saw a

    waitressing his way.

"Hello, sir. Good evening. Wee to JY Hotel. How many are in yourpany?" the waitress greeted

    in high energy.

Lawrence was scanning the whole lobby. He didn''t want to admit the fact that he was kind of impressed

of the ce. He was lost in admiration of the ce and only realized after a few moments that he was

asked a question. "I''m Lawrence Chu and I have a reservation for two," Lawrence replied. He

remembered that Selina had booked the table under his name.

"Mr. Chu, this way please," she said politely. She immediately recognized the name. Who wouldn''t?

This was a Chu, one of the most distinguished families in the city. She reminded herself that she

couldn''t afford to displease him or else, she might lose her job.

The waitress carefully ushered Lawrence into a private room. On their way, Lawrence couldn''t help but

be amazed on how beautiful the ce was. ''So much for a first meeting, '' he thought. When they

arrived in the room, Lawrence nced around to find a small table and two wooden stools. It urred

to him that Selina had arranged this room on purpose.

Lawrence helped himself to the table and sat down on one of the stools.

The waitress put her hand inside her pocket and took out a room card. "Mr. Lawrence, this is the room

card of our president suite. It is Mrs. Selina''s instruction," she said courteously, handing the card to

    Lawrence.

Lawrence was surprised at the gesture. He thought that the restaurant arrangement was already too

much, but didn''t expect that there was more. ''So Aunt even prepared a room for me. She must be

really eager to see me and that girl to work it out, '' he thought to himself.

Lawrence took the card and put it on the table. "You can leave now," he demanded in a cold voice.

"When would you like us to serve the food?" the waitress asked with a diplomatic smile.

"Wait until this arrives," Lawrence replied briefly. Out of courtesy, he decided to wait for Mary before

    ordering the dishes.

    "Okay,"

the waitress answered, turned around and politely took her leave.

Meanwhile, Mary had arrived at the hotel. As her driver parked the car, she alighted from the car. As

she got out, she instructed the driver in a defiant tone, "You can leave now. Tell my parents that I am

safe and they don''t need to send you to pick me up tonight."

"Okay, Miss Mary," the driver answered politely.

As the car drove away, Mary started to fix herself up. She pulled her miniskirt up with her right hand,

exposing more her porcin bare thighs. This was one of her assets. Mary was one of the few

members of the society who had long, alluring legs matched with her natural pretty face.

With a luxury fashion hand bag on her left hand, she confidently walked into the hotel lobby door.

"Good day, Miss Mary. Wee to JY Hotel," one waitress greeted humbly as she came forward.

"Hmm," Mary greeted back distantly. "Is Mr. Lawrence here?" she asked in a superior manner.

"Yes, he is here. This way, please," the waitress said while nervously smiling.

Mary didn''t say a word and just followed the usher.

The waitress led Mary to the private room where Lawrence was waiting. As they arrive at the door of

the private room, Mary silently paused for a moment. The waitress thought that the Miss was waiting

for the door to be opened for her, so she immediately grabbed the door knob. Aware of what was about

to happen, Mary grabbed her hand immediately. "You can leave now! I can go by myself," she said

    impatiently, frowning at the waitress.

"I apologize Miss. I will leave right now," the waitress agreed meekly and walked away. She didn''t think

it was a wise idea to offend Mary.

Standing in front of the room, Mary did ast check of herself. She retouched her make-up, flipped her

hair, and pulled her skirt up. After making sure that she looked perfect, she pushed the door open to

    the room.

Lawrence heard the door opening and looked its way.

He saw hering in. After several seconds, he immediately turned his eyes back at the window.

Mary noticed Lawrence immediately as she entered the room. But she didn''t like the fact that he was

not paying attention to her. So instead of going to the vacant seat, she headed to where Lawrence was

    siting.

Lawrence could smell a scent of perfume and it was bing stronger. ''Here shees, '' he thought

to himself as he heard her stepsing closer.

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Lawrence. I''m Mary Han," Mary gushed. When she spoke out her name, her

tone was exceedingly soft and sweet. She was trying to imply that she was a well-bred youngdy from

an affluent family who deserved his attention.

"Please take a seat," Lawrence returned coldly, gesturing her to the vacant seat. He had met many

women who were keen on perfume, but none of them gave off a scent as strong as hers. ''Did she use

up a whole bottle of perfume?'' he wondered in disdain.

Mary didn''t realize that Lawrence had an aversion towards her. Instead, she considered Lawrence the

    legendary aloof prince.

Mary let out a sweet smile and took the seat in front of Lawrence, trying toprehend the man in

    front of her.

Aria had sessfully slipped into JY Hotel. She could''ve just entered the hotel lobby as how normal

people do, but she wasn''t wearing the appropriate attire nor looking any ssy. Aria was wearing a

cheap, white,ce top, paired with a sleazy jeans, and white sneakers. Her hair was pony-tailed. Some

could say that she looked young and pure, but they wouldn''t be interested in her as she looked cheap.

"All right. Now that I''m in, I need to find Mary," Aria mumbled.

She nced around to see where she needed to go. She was awestruck by how beautiful the ce

was but there was no time to waste. She needed to find Mary before any staff noticed her cheap

presence. She walked towards an aisle.

Lawrence didn''t take a look at Mary since the time she helped herself in a seat in front of her. He would

casually nce over the window and watch the lights of the street sparkling while enjoying the silence

    more than the dinner.
