Chapter 781 Destined To Be Together (Part One)
After work, Greg came home early in the afternoon and started to prepare dinner, because he wanted
to make a wonderful dinner for Violet.
Violet was at her parents'' house until seven o''clock and then she asked Bill to send her home.
The moment she reached home and took off her shoes, she could smell something tasty cooking.
Without any need to guess, Violet knew that it must be Greg who was making dinner.
Greg, in an apron, walked over to Violet and weed her back, "You''re home."
Violet replied, "Yes, when did youe back?"
Greg gently answered, "I came home straight after work." If they could forget all the past issues that
happened between them, Greg felt that Violet and he certainly made a great couple. He continued,
"Just wash your hands and let us have dinner now."
Violet replied, "Okay, I will be back."
The two sat in the dining room. Violet looked at all the food on the table, but she was not feeling hungry
at all. Actually, after seeing such heavy and oily food she felt as if she would vomit everything out.
Greg noticed that Violet was not picking up the knife and fork, so he thought that maybe she didn''t want
to eat at all. He asked, "What''s wrong? Don''t you like the food?"
Violet replied, "Yes, I do." She didn''t want Greg to know that she was feeling ufortable, so she
tried hard not to vomit.
Violet took a little food but before she could even put the food back on her te, she felt so
ufortable that she put down the fork, and ran to the bathroom.
Greg shouted behind her, "Violet."
Violet felt better after she threw up in the toilet. She stood in front of the sink, gargled and when she
had calmed down, she came out of the bathroom.
Violet was going back to the dining room, but she got scared on seeing Greg who was standing right in
front of the bathroom door.
Violet stopped walking at once and stared at Greg.
Greg leaned against the wall and said, "Violet, I''m sorry. I know all that happened yesterday was my
fault. I apologize."
Violet just watched him and replied nothing.
Greg looked into her eyes and continued, "I won''t take a divorce from you. In fact, I will never divorce
you my whole life."
Greg''s resolve was exactly what Violet truly wished for.
So she took a step ahead and approached him. She reached out her hands and put her arms around
her husband''s neck. Staring in his eyes, she fondly said, "Greg, what has happened has happened. In
the future, shall we again try and understand each other? Can we start thinking of having a life
together?"
Greg promised without any hesitation, "Okay, I will." That was exactly what he had wanted to say to her
today. They were quite young and they had never faced any major problems so sometimes their
reaction was not mature enough. He hoped that Violet and he could live together and be happy again.
Violet said, "Greg, I may havemitted mistakes. I''m sorry. But trust me. I''ve never betrayed you. I
can say that I''ve always done what my conscience tells me is correct."
Greg hastily said, "Well, Violet, it''s me who should be saying sorry. I should have trusted you."
Violet shook her head and said to Greg, "Greg, let''s decide to spend all our life together with love and
togetherness now."
Greg replied, "Okay."
This assurance of love made Violet smile. And she also smiled for the baby in her belly. All the things
she had said and would do now were for her baby. She wanted to give her baby a happy and loving
family. She wanted her baby to live in a family which had both a mother and father. So even though she
was feeling bitter, she decided to tolerate that feeling. She was willing to work hard for the new member
who was going toe.
At night, Violet and Gregy on the bed and Greg, as before, held Violet in her arms and fondly touch
her.
Violet said, "Greg, I''m quite tired. So let''s rest early. You need to go to work tomorrow morning." She
didn''t know why she was sleepy but she was sure that she would fall asleep the moment she closed
her eyes.
Greg agreed, "Okay, let''s just sleep now." He felt that maybe she hadn''t slept wellst night, that was
why she was so tired, and he didn''t want to disturb her rest even though he really hoped to make love
to her that night.
Violet said, ''Honey, good night."
"Good night."
In the hall of the hotel, Tim was inspecting the hotel along with the hall manager, but he suddenly
noticed that several well-dressed people entered the hotel.
A guy dressed formally was standing to Alice and he said, "Ms. Alice, can we have dinner in this hotel
tonight?"
Alice smiled and replied, "Okay. Thanks so much for inviting me to dinner."
That guy was a manager and he stared at beautiful Alice in a horny way his intentions not seeming
decent enough. He said, "It''s my pleasure. You were working sote for ourpany''s exhibitions and
it''s my duty to invite you to dinner. I believe that our exhibitions which are going to held in a week must
be the best in the city, in terms of both the way they are executed and the employees'' clothes design."
Alice just smiled and replied nothing.
Tim was standing not far away. He watched Alice go to his hotel restaurant with a middle-aged man.
Following them were several people in suits. Tim thought that those men were probably employees of
the middle-aged guy.

Tim turned around, looked towards his assistant and said, "Pay attention to Ms. Alice and report to me
if anything goes wrong."
The assistant replied, "Yes, Mr. Tim." Then she turned around and left.
Tim continued with his inspection work.
After about an hour, Tim went out of the elevator feeling quite tired and he wanted to retire to his room
to sleep. His phone rang suddenly. He took out the phone and saw it was a call from his assistant. Tim
knew immediately that something must have happened to Alice because it was toote for the
assistant to tell him about any other emergency. This fact made Tim sure that something was wrong
with Alice.
Tim answered the phone and ordered, "Tell me what has happened."
