Chapter 462 Never Let Him Go (Part Three)
Jackson recalled what had happened five years ago. When he had gotten out of the bathroom and
seen Cherry sleeping on his bed, he had gotten out of control and made Cherry his woman. He quickly
got addicted to her and became infatuated with her body. He had tried all means to look for her and
never expected her to be his blind date. That''s why he got married to her so quickly. He was anxious to
keep her at his side. He made her his woman on impulse, so he must protect her perfectly. Her past
and those people who had hurt her had always been in his mind. Jackson promised that he would
spare no efforts to make her happy and safe, but eventually he failed to do that and she left him. The
moment he got the news that Cherry had left, he even wanted to kill himself. Cherry had already
be a necessary part of his life and she was so important in his heart. He did not realize that he
had gone far wrong until that moment. In the past days, he only cared about Sally''s thoughts while paid
no attention to hers. What kind of life did he actually provide for her?
Five yearster, when he had looked at her in astonishment at the hotel, he couldn''t suppress the
impulse inside his heart and then started bullying her. He wanted to be with her so much and the idea
almost drove him crazy. He tried all means to keep her at his side. The appearance of Joe had

surprised him but made him happy, which encouraged him to protect his family and Cherry. He hoped
that he could provide Cherry with a happy life, so that she would never frown or cry again. He hoped
that she could feel tenderness every time she was held in his arms. Unfortunately, he didn''t manage it.
He wished he were an ordinary person rather than Jackson, it would''ve been easier for him to try his
best to give an ideal life to Cherry.
Jacksony on the sofa drunk, his mind full of Cherry''s face. ''When did I begin to be attracted to
Cherry? Was it the night I met her for the first time?'' wondered Jackson.
The next morning, Cherry got up and went to Joe''s room to wake him up.
Joe could see that his Mommy was tired and hadn''t slept well. Even though he didn''t know what had
happened between his Daddy and Mommy, he was quite sure that his Mommy was angry.
"Mommy, are you okay?" Joe stared at his Mommy.
"Yes, I''m well, " responded Cherry, forcing a smile onto her face.
Joe decided not to say anything more when he saw his Mommy pretend to be tough.
After making a simple breakfast and sending Joe to school, Cherry drove back to thepany.
As Cherry reached the first floor of the H King Building, she met Wilson who had just arrived too.
Noticing that Cherry didn''t look good today, Wilson asked with concern, "Cherry, are you all right? You
look terrible."
"I didn''t get enough sleepst night. Brother, don''t worry about me, I''m very well, " answered Cherry.
"Would you like to go back home to take rest? I can permit you to leave now, " said Wilson. As Cherry''s
older brother, he tried to take good care of her.
"It''s okay. I''ll feel better with a cup of tea, " replied Cherry, and then she entered the lift with him.
Cherry went to her office and sat at her desk. She still felt somewhat ufortable as she seemed to
have chest tightness and dizziness.
All of a sudden, Cherry was ovee with a feeling of nausea. She quickly mped her hand against
her mouth and rushed to the toilet.
After emptying the contents of her stomach in the sink, Cherry felt much better. Then she got back to
her office.
Just as she sat down, Cherry heard her phone ring. She took it out and found that Derek was calling
her, so she answered the phone.
"Hello, Derek, " said Cherry.
"Sister, do you know where Jackson is?" Derek asked quickly.
"I don''t know. He didn''t sleep at homest night, " answered Cherry honestly because she thought it
was unnecessary to hide the truth from him.
"Didn''t hee backst night? I have arrived at the bar now but he is not there. And I can''t get
through to his phone. I have no idea where he is now, " uttered Derek.
"Is an emergency going on or something?" questioned Cherry.
"No, there is no emergency. I just couldn''t find him so I asked you. I thought you''d know where he was,
" answered Derek.
"I''m not sure. Maybe I should go back home to see if he hase back now, " replied Cherry. She felt
a bit worried about Jackson.
"Sister, you needn''t go back. I can do that for you. Just continue your work. I''m free now and I can go to
your house to take a look, " said Derek.
"Alright, then I will keep on working. You can look for him yourself, " responded Cherry.
"Okay, just do that. I''m going to hang up, " finally said Derek.
"Fine."
Cherry hung up the phone and felt worried about Jackson. He hadn''t been back all night, but where
would he have gone? Had he gone back to the family residence or just stayed at a hotel?
While Cherry was so nervous, her phone started to ring again. Cherry took one look to it and saw that it
was Mond who had called her.
Cherry did not intend to answer it, but Mond kept calling. Finally, she relented and answered the phone.
"Hello, " said Cherry.
"Do you want to know where Jackson is now?" spoke Mond seriously.
Cherry sounded surprised when she heard Mond''s words.
"Where is he now?" asked Cherry in reply.
"The family residence, " answered Mond simply, and then added, "Go look for him immediately, or you
will regret it."
Mond hung up the phone before Cherry could respond.
Holding the phone in her hands, Cherry didn''t know whether to go find Jackson or not.
But after a mental struggle, she decided to go find him. Cherry stood up, took her coat and her
handbag with her, then left the office.
Sitting in his car, Mond gazed at the gate of the family residence nearby, and dialed Sally''s number.
"Hello, what''s up?" asked Sally on the phone.
"Jackson is in the family residence now. He is alone. You can go to him now, but Cherry will be here too
in a short time. If you want to destroy their rtionship and have Jackson all to yourself, it will be a
good opportunity for you."
Mond hung up the phone after he finished his words. His evil n was set into motion.
As he looked at the house in front of him, a small, unobtrusive, wicked smile curved Mond''s lips. He
was sure that Sally would arrive at the family residence before Cherry. If things went well, he would
have a chance to see a wonderful family drama. He would let ruin befall Jackson''s family. This was
Jackson''s retribution and he deserved it.
Mond nkly looked at the gate of the family residence, the smile on his face gradually froze. If nothing
happened that year, he should also live there because he was an army brat too, just like Jackson was.
But Jackson led such a happy life, which contrasted sharply with his life. How could he let Jackson go
so easily?
