Chapter 457 Went To Find Him (Part One)
Alone atst, Jackson and Cherry sat together on the sofa. Jackson finally showed his distress.
"Honey, is there anything wrong?" Cherry asked worriedly.
"I didn''t tell them the truth about the token, " Jackson replied calmly. That afternoon had opened his
eyes. He couldn''t tell them the token was gone. Eric would most certainly rebel if he did, judging by his
ambition and personality.
"Why? Did you not tell them because they didn''t ask?" She watched her husband in curiosity.
"Yes. They believe with all certainty that I hold the token, " he told her.
"What are you going to do now?" She coaxed.
A serious look entered his eyes as he looked into hers. "Honey, I''ve changed my mind about them."
"What do you mean?" Cherry inquired.
"I can terminate their employment with the Chu Family and drive them from the city. I just have to
exchange the token with the appointed person, " Jackson exined.
"Is that true?" This news caught Cherrypletely by surprise.
"Yes, " Jackson confirmed. "Grandpa must have thought ahead, so he arranged it this way. Eric and
Jonson told me that, and I doubt they were lying. There''s no way they would joke about such an
important topic. They know the consequences of doing so."
"So, what do you want to do?" Cherry asked.
"I told them that I wouldn''t call for their services, so they may live as they have been, " Jackson replied
solemnly. "I''ll take some time to solve the issue with the token, so I may end the agreement with them."
Listening carefully to her husband''s words, Cherry nodded. "Well, that''s one way to settle these things
for a while, " she supposed.
Jackson breathed deeply as he stroked Cherry''s hair affectionately. "Yes, well, hopefully nothing bad
will happen after. I''ll try to solve them if something does." He paused, considering. "Eric and Jonson
won''t cause problems, so long as the token doesn''t show up in someone else''s hands."
That reassured Cherry greatly and she looked at Jackson. "That''s good. Don''t worry too much. There''s
always a solution."
"Alright, " Jackson nodded.
That evening, Joe came home from school, having been picked up by Bill. Walking inside, he saw his
parents were home and he ran happily to his Mommy. "Mommy, you and Daddy came back so early
today, " he greeted them with a hug.
Her son never failed to bring a smile to Cherry''s face and today was no exception. "That''s right, " she
replied. "We knew our baby boy wasing home soon after school, so we came home earlier."
Seated on the sofa, Jackson watched his beautiful wife and lovely son with happiness filling his heart.

"Mommy, do I have piano ss tonight?" Joe asked eagerly.
"Maybe. There are four days of sses in a week, which is arranged by your piano teacher Amy."
Cherry tilted her head at him with a yful look on her face.
"That''s great! Can we have dinner now? After that, I can wait for Amy to arrive so she can teach me the
piano." Joe jumped up, taking his Mommy''s hand and leading her to the dining room.
The young Chu Family sat, eating and talking together in the dining room. Once they were finished, Joe
waited in the study for Amy.
As usual, Cherry and Jackson stood together on the balcony to enjoy the beautiful night scene.
"Honey, do you think I should call Derek and ask him toe over? He could take Amy home after
ss, " Jackson wondered aloud.
"Why do you want Derek to take her home? Bill can drive her home, or I could. No need to bother
Derek tonight, " Cherry replied, misunderstanding Jackson''s meaning.
"That''s not what I meant, " Jackson spoke so suddenly, Cherry looked at him. "Don''t you understand
what I meant?"
Her expression grew confused for a moment, before realisation crossed her delicate features. She
thought back to when Derek and Amy had met each otherst.
"Do you want to get Derek together with Amy?" Cherry asked in surprise.
"Yeah, " Jackson replied with a smile. "He''s never had a girlfriend. Now that he''s met a woman he''s
attracted to, shouldn''t we try to help them out?" As Derek''s best friend, he felt that it fell to him to help
Derek with dating Amy.
"I don''t know. What does Amy think? How does she feel about Derek?" Cherry worried.
"They''ve only met once. Why don''t you ask her how she feels about Derek after they''ve spent some
time together?" Jackson suggested.
Her worries temporarily eased, and she agreed.
"It''s settled. I''ll call Derek now, " Jackson replied.
"Ok."
It wasn''t long before Amy arrived at their house. She greeted Cherry before going upstairs to the study
to teach Joe.
Derek rushed into the Chu Family house about half an hourter.
Cherry and Jackson were lounging in the living room watching TV together when Derek walked in. "Life
of leisure, huh?" he remarked with a smile, "Where is Miss Amy?"
"Upstairs teaching Joe, " Cherry replied. She stood up, poured a ss of water and offered it to Derek.
Derek''s smile only grew. He took the offered ss with appreciation and sat on the sofa.
"You are very happy, Derek." Cherry noted, a contented smile touching her lips. His reaction surprised
her.
"Of course!" Derek told her, "Jackson, Cherry, thank you for giving me this opportunity to be with her."
"Hey, you''d better do something about it, boy, since we created this opportunity for you. I wouldn''t be
letting you drive Amy home if Jackson hadn''t told me of your feelings for her, " Cherry teased. Derek
had yed plenty of jokes on her in the past, and now it was her turn.
"Oh, Cherry!" Derek said after taking a sip of his water. "You don''t want her to be with me? You would
give this chance to someone else? "Who else could be better suited than I to drive her without any
Rolling her eyes, she replied, "Don''t tter yourself. You''lle ording to the schedule. You''ll be
Amy''s exclusive driver."
Derek bowed his head gratefully. "Alright, it''s my pleasure. I''ll do it well."
Listening calmly, Jackson felt his heart warm with happiness for Derek. He thought he wouldn''t need to
worry about Derek so much if Derek had Amy. His friend''s life would change for the better if he had
someone to care for him in the future.
