Chapter 422 The Meeting Of Two (Part One)
Jackson tightened his arms around Cherry holding her closer as he cooed softly, "Everything will be
fine, Babe, have faith in me and don''t worry."
Cherry nodded, and was somewhat relieved, feeling his arms hugging her, and hearing his gentle
voice, but, deep in her heart, there was still a niggling fear.
While Jackson was gazing at Cherry''s face he had a thought, "I want to discuss something with you."
"What''s up?" asked Cherry.
"I''d like it if Lily and Bill came and stayed at the vi to help out. So you wouldn''t need to overwork. Lily
can help with breakfast in the morning, and when you''re busy, Bill can drive Joe to school, " Jackson
suggested tenderly. Jackson loved Cherry, and it was distressing seeing her exhausted from working
so hard. He couldn''t imagine how difficult life was while she and Joe were alone living abroad. He knew
her personality; she was as strong and stubborn as she was gentle and caring. Even though she had
the Yuwen household around her back then, she wouldn''t have asked for help. Now, she was home
with him again, and he would do his best to provide a better life for her and protect her.
"What about your home at the military residentialpound? That home needs maintaining too, so
that it doesn''t be rundown. When we go back it''s filled with warm memories of Grandpa, " said
Cherry worried.
"You don''t need to worry about that. Bill or Lily will return asionally, " replied Jackson.
Cherry added her two cents after mulling it over, "Well, it sounds like a good idea."
Jackson smiled, "Good, then I''ll ask them to be here tomorrow, and things will be easier for you."
"Okay, sounds good."
The following morning, Cherry was up early to make a simple, but, delicious breakfast for her little
family.
They just sat down to breakfast when the doorbell rang. Cherry went to see who was there.

Cherry opened the door, to find Bill and Lily waiting outside.
"Good Morning, Mrs. Cherry!" Lily''s warm smile greeted Cherry.
"Morning, it''s good to see you, Mrs. Cherry, " voiced Bill.
"Oh, good morning! It''s so good to see the two of you! Come in, " replied Cherry smiling genially.
Joe called out from the dining room, "Mommy, who''s here at this early hour?"
Lily went to the dining room, a big smile on her face, "Hello, Joe! Bill and I are here."
Afterwards, Lily turned and greeted Jackson, "Good morning, Mr. Jackson."
Jackson greeted her with a nod.
Joe was thrilled that Lily was there. He put his chopsticks down, before getting down from his chair and
rushing happily to Lily. He tugged at her sleeve asking, "Lily, will you and Bill be staying here from now
on? You won''t have to stay at the residentialpound again, will you?"
"Yes, we''ll stay here and take care of you. You live here now, so, there''s no reason for us to stay at the
residentialpound. Mostly, we are here because we missed you so much, " Lily told Joe. When she
saw Joe''s face aglow with happiness, it made her happy too. Joe was such a nice boy, that when he
smiled, others around him felt joy too.
"Yay! That''s so awesome! We''re together, now, and no one is missing from the family!" Joe turned to
his father eximing, "Daddy! We are a family of five people again!"
Jackson smiled and nodded as he thought, ''As long as Joe and Cherry are happy, nothing else
matters. I''ll see to their needs.''
Bill was excited too, watching the happy scene unfold in front of him. He informed Cherry, "Mrs. Cherry,
I''ll drive Joe to school this morning, so you can take care of other things."
Cherry nodded, "Okay, thank you."
When they had finished breakfast, Bill took Joe to school, and Lily went about cleaning up the kitchen.
Cherry changed and went downstairs. Jackson was reclining on the sofa in the living room, and she
said, "Okay, I''m leaving for work now."
"Okay, have a good day and be careful driving, " said Jackson tenderly, as he got up, going to Cherry
and cing a soft kiss on her forehead.
Jackson didn''t sit down again until Cherry was gone. His cell started ringing as soon as he was sitting
again. Jackson took his cell out and saw Derek''s name shing on the screen.
Jackson epted the call, "Hello, Derek."
"Hi Jackson! Where are you?" Derek asked.
"I''m at home, " Jackson was curious adding, "Why? What''s up?"
"Stephen has agreed to transfer his entertainment assets to you, with one condition to the terms…"
said Derek.
"What is his condition?" Jackson asked.
"He wants a face to face meeting with you when he hands over the documents, " exined Derek.
Jackson was thrown back a little at Stephen''s condition. He didn''t understand why he would insist on
face to face negotiations. Stephen knew the rtionship between Derek and himself, and that Derek
was authorized to speak on his behalf. He wondered why Stephen woulde up with such a request.
"Where?" Jackson spit out.
"I''ve made arrangements for you to meet at the café. If you leave now, I''ll contact Stephen and give him
the address."
"Got it." Jackson said and hung up.
He grabbed the car keys and left the vi.
As Jackson drove, he couldn''t stop wondering why the hell Stephen wanted to meet him. He didn''t
understand what Stephen was up to. Stephen chose to transfer all his entertainment assets over to
Jackson, so why did he want to speak with him in person. There was nothing for them to discuss,
except possibly what happened years ago or the ownership of Cherry.
When Jackson got to the café, a waiter showed him to a private room where Stephen was already
waiting.
"Please, join me. Have a seat, " Stephen invited as he sat down.
Jackson sat in the seat across the table.
"You should be aware that Derek is my representative, and as such, he can make decisions for me.
Why did you need this meeting with me?" Jackson jumped right into the topic on his mind, and asked in
a cold manner.
"Haha…" Stephen chuckled, gazing at Jackson, "I think some things I''d prefer to say to you in person."
