Chapter 347 Mirth In The Living Room (Part One)


    The whole room was very quiet.


    Cherry was still engrossed in her own thoughts. After a while, she then continued her words, "When I


    was a small girl, I hated a lot of people. I even med my mother because I couldn''t understand the


    reason why she didn''t take me away from the Shen Family. It was not until I grew up and learned a lot


    of things, experienced a lot too, then I began to realize that sometimes people found themselves in

    Jackson, upon hearing her words, still remained silent.


    Cherry saw the somber expression on Jackson''s face as he was lost in thoughts. She said to herself,

    Grandpa loves Lucia, our elder sister, so much, we should also treat her as a member of our family. I


    believe we should show her that she matters to us as well. You don''t need to worry, I can handle the Ye


    Family. Cherry assured Jackson with a smile.


    "Fine, " said Jackson, turning his eyes to Cherry, "I''m so d to have a smart wife like you."


    Cherry did not say a word but instead gave him a sweet and grateful smile.


    The next morning, hearing the obtrusive sound of the rm, Cherry tried to take Jackson''s arms off of


    her. She intended to get up early before their guest arrived. Cherry''s effort however was met by


    resistance, she was immediately pulled back to bed by Jackson.


    "Today is weekend, we can sleep a little longer, " Jackson dered sleepily.


    Cherry looked down at Jackson whose eyes were still closed and replied, "We have guests arriving


    today, we''d better get up."


    Jackson reluctantly opened his eyes and stared at the woman in front of him, then he pulled her closer


    to him and kissed her lips tenderly.


    After a while, Jackson reluctantly released her lips and gazed at Cherry, love, and tenderness reflected


    in his eyes.


    Before Jackson could do anything further Cherry said to him softly, "Come on, stop it, get up quickly."


    "Okay, " replied Jackson not wanting to release Cherry, he loosened his grip off of her.


    After a quick bath, Cherry and Jackson descended the stairs and headed towards the dining hall where


    they found Andrew sitting.


    "Ah! Jackson, Cherry, why did you guys get up so early?" Andrew greeted when he noticed them enter


    the hall.


    The couple walked towards Andrew. Jackson looked at him and said politely, "Grandpa, we know that


    Lucia and her family areing over today. Cherry and I decided to get up early to wee them. We


    want to be prepared when they arrive"


    Andrew smiled and was pleased by Jackson''s words. Then Andrew looked at Cherry and asked, "Is


    Joe still sleeping?"


    "Yes, " nodded Cherry, "I didn''t wake him up, " she added.


    Andrew smiled, nodded and immediately said, "Don''t wake up Joe. Let him sleep in. Most kids his age


    gets upte on weekends. Just let him have a good rest."


    Cherry nodded, "Well, Grandpa I''m going to the kitchen to help Lily prepare breakfast." she said as she


    walked towards the direction of the kitchen.


    "Okay, " said, Andrew.


    Andrew''s eyes were fixed on Cherry as she turned and walked away. He felt happy to have such a


    lovely granddaughter-inw in the family. She was not only sensible but polite as will and on top of that


    she was performing exceedingly fine in both thepany and in the family. She knew how to manage


    a good family. She respected him and got along well with Jackson. Furthermore, she loved Joe. These


    qualities made Andrew admire and love her even more. He thought that it would set his mind at ease if

    "Jackson, " Andrew called, suddenly redirecting his attention to him. "Have you mentioned it to Cherry


    Andrew was still worried that Cherry would feel unhappy when she heard the news that Lucia was

    Meanwhile, Cherry was helping Lily make breakfast in the kitchen. Lily had always admired Cherry, she


    found her to be a woman of virtue. Smiling, Lily said, "Mrs. Cherry, you really don''t hate this house


    works. I can''t believe that you would personally toe here and help. You know, this ce is full of


    grease."


    Cherry smiled, and said, "Now why would I hate being here and doing house works? I don''t have


    anything to do right now, so I might as well help you with the breakfast preparation."


    "Mrs. Cherry, you are very kind. I also find you very different from the otherdies whoe from


    wealthy families. You have a lot of virtues which they don''t have!" stated Lily. Lily''s words were very


    sincere and they did not contain any hint of ttery. She remembered the first day when Jackson


    brought her to the vi. It was the day that Cherry returned. Lily, originally thought that Cherry was one


    of those finickydies from wealthy families,dies who knew nothing but to give orders to their


    servants,dies who constantly demanded attention. However, as time went by, Lily gradually learned


    that Cherry was a different breed of ady. She realized that she was special. Cherry never failed to


    make her feel rxed and happy in her presence. She believed that this must have been the main


    reason why Jackson chose her from all the otherdies who constantly surrounded him. Cherry was

    Cherry didn''t say any word, instead, she focused her attention on cooking the family breakfast. After a


    while, she said, "They are almost okay now. Lily, can you please take care of these foods and I will go


    upstairs to wake up Joe."


    "Okay, leave it to me, " replied Lily smiling.


    Watching Cherry walking away, Lily still felt so happy in her heart. She had worked as a housekeeper


    for so many years, but it was the first time that she firmly told herself she would work for the Chu family


    all her life if it was possible. She would stay at the ce where Cherry was.
