    After work, Cherry and Selina went downstairs together.


    "Cherry, are you going to pick up Joe from school?" asked Selina, with a big smile on her face.


    "Yes, I am. By the time I get there, Joe should have finished his school, " replied Cherry, as she looked


    at her wristwatch. She then continued to ask, "What about you? Are you going straight back home?"


    Selina didn''t answer her question immediately; instead, she thought for a while, and then said, "Cherry,


    actually, I''ll have dinner with Wilson tonight."


    Cherry stared at Selina with a surprised look in her eyes. A delightful smile appeared on her face, and


    she asked, "Have you already hooked up with each other?"


    "Not yet. He just called me and asked me if I wanted to have dinner with him; I''m free tonight, so I said


    yes, " said Selina, as she let out a shy smile.


    "That''s great! Just go, it''s the perfect opportunity for you to know him better face to face, and you also


    won''t have to ask me things about him anymore, " said Cherry while smiling.


    Selina blushed, and said, "Cherry…You''re making fun of me again."


    "Alright, alright, just try to get along well with each other. Clear?" said Cherry, delighted.


    When Cherry arrived at the school, her son was already waiting for her at the gate.


    Joe cheerfully ran to his mother as soon as he saw her get out of the car.


    "Joe, Mommy''s here for you!" said Cherry, as she held her son tight in her arms.


    "Mommy, you''re finally here! I''ve been waiting for you for a while, " said Joe, as he stroked Cherry''s


    hair with his little hand. He then continued to say, "Mommy, you must be very tired after working all


    day."


    "It''s okay, Selina''s been nice to me. All the tasks that she gives Mommy are easy to be done, " said


    Cherry in a tender manner. Whenever she saw her lovely son, all of her concerns and worries instantly


    disappeared.


    "Auntie Selina is the best person in the world! Mommy, when I grow up and have money in the future,


    I''ll buy her delicious food every day!" said Joe in a childish manner.


    "That''s good, she''ll be very happy then! Alright now, let''s go back home first, " said Cherry.


    "Okay, " replied Joe.


    While she was driving, Cherry tried to refrain herself from thinking about what had happened earlier in


    the day. She remembered the moments when she was trapped in the elevator, and a feeling of panic


    and uneasiness came over her. She thought to herself, ''Luckily, Mond came and rescued me in time, or


    otherwise I would have died there.''


    Joe saw that his mom was silent and didn''t talk with him in the car at all. He was confused, and


    wondered whether something bad had happened to his mom.


    "Mommy..."


    When Cherry heard her son call her, she immediately stopped her pondering. After she quickly nced


    at her son, she looked back at the road again, and asked, "What is it?"


    "Has something happened today?" asked Joe.


    Cherry hadn''t expected that her son would find out that she had something to worry about. She quickly


    pulled herself back together, and said, "No, everything''s fine."


    Joe knew that his mom didn''t want to tell him what was bothering her because she regarded him as a


    child, and thought that he couldn''t understand adult concerns.


    "Mommy, you can tell me anything, no matter what; I''ve already told you that before, remember?


    Although I can''t help you to deal with things, I can help you with some good ideas that might help; I''m


    quick-witted, " said Joe seriously, as he looked at his mom''s face. He knew very well that his mom


    wasn''t happy at all ever since they had moved in with his father, and he felt very distressed when he


    saw that his mother was bing more and more taciturn by each passing day. He wanted very much


    that Cherry could be happy every day, but he was still a child, and he wasn''t able to take good care of


    her yet; instead, she was the one that had to look after him.


    Cherry thought for a while, but eventually decided not to tell her son about what had happened, and


    told him something else instead. "Joe, Mommy has a secret to tell you."

    "I think that your Auntie Selina will be your Uncle''s girlfriend soon, " said Cherry.

    his mom surprised, and asked, "Do you mean that my Uncle Wilson will marry Auntie Selina soon?"


    "It won''t happen that fast, but…your Uncle has invited Selina to dinner tonight, " said Cherry, with a


    smile on her face.


    "I want to go there too!" suddenly said Joe.
