    "They''re all good fits for you. You look stunning in this one!" Stephen smiled and came near Cherry.


    They stood together before the mirror and looked at the eye-catching reflection.


    "I''ll take it. I like blue." Cherry smiled with satisfaction, looking at her slim figure outlined by the blue


    dress.


    "Good, I''ll pay." Stephen beamed.


    Cherry smiled and returned to the dressing room.


    While Stephen was paying the bill, the cashier looked at him andplimented, "Your girlfriend is


    really beautiful."


    Stephen knew who the cashier was referring to. The corners of his mouth twisted up. "Thank you, " he


    said.


    When Cherry and Stephen took the dress and were about to leave the mall, they noticed two people


    Sally was walking in with Jackson, happily holding his arm. Suddenly, she sensed that Jackson had


    slowed down. She followed Jackson''s gaze, and she saw Stephen and the woman besides him.


    Jackson, burning with rage, shook off Sally He''s hand and walked up to them.


    Sally He had thought that Jackson was furious with Stephen. She followed him.


    Jackson''s gaze cut through Cherry like a knife. He stared at her and said, slowly, "Is this your way of


    spending your free time?"


    Cherry looked away and inhaled deeply, calming herself. Then she said, "Yes, I felt bored staying alone


    at home. So why note out and have fun?"


    "So you''vee out and had fun with him? Cherry Shen!" Jackson snarled. ''How could this woman


    dare go shopping with another man?'' he thought.


    Hearing her name, Sally He realized who she was. This woman was Jackson''s wife. She was the one


    for whom Jackson wanted to abandon her.


    Sally He sized Cherry up. She looked nothing special in face or figure, but Sally He could sense an


    aura of innocence about her.


    Cherry looked into Jackson''s eyes, unafraid, "Yes, why not, since you can go shopping with her?"


    Cherry turned her gaze to Sally He. Here was a perfect woman with a slim figure and fair face.


    "Cherry Shen, " Jackson glowered, "Go home. Now!"


    "No, I won''t, " Cherry defied him and ignored his anger. "What makes you think you can give me orders


    and force me to stay at home, all alone? In that cold home?"


    Jackson trembled with fury. How dare she turn against him?


    Suddenly, Sally He butted in, "If you don''t want to live there, why don''t you move out?"


    Her words surprised the other three. Nobody had expected Sally He to say this.


    "Shut up!" Jackson blurted out, ring at her.


    Sally He could not help shivering. She dared not say more. Her resentment for Cherry was growing.


    Cherry gave a helpless smile. She said to Jackson, "You want me to move out? And then you''ll have


    this woman move in, won''t you?"


    As she pointed at Sally He, her heart ached. ''How could he throw me out for this woman?''


    Jackson wanted to exin but did not know how. He looked at her without saying a word.

    Stephen watched and anger towards Jackson rose in him. Heforted Cherry, yet his eyes were


    fixed on Jackson. "If you want to move out of that house, how about moving into my home?"


    Hearing that, Jackson rushed to Stephen, grabbed his cor, and was about to punch him. But Stephen


    blocked him.


    Meanwhile, Stephen also grabbed Jackson''s cor and red at him without fear.


    "Stephen, leave her alone if you want to live a long life, " whispered Jackson coldly into Stephen''s ear.


    Cherry and Sally He also heard these words.

    Cherry out of your ws."


    "There is no way you can do that, '' said Jackson.


    "Let''s wait and see." Stephen acted undaunted, as if all the odds were in his favor. He continued, "If I


    spill the beans, you and your family, even Sally, would have to deal with the consequences.


    Hearing these words, Sally felt a shudder of fear. She knew that dark secret better than anyone else.


    In her panic, she argued, "Who do you think you are? No one will believe what you say."


    Stephen sneered. He nced at Sally He and then looked back at Jackson, "I think you know what I


    can do."


    Jackson was silent. He knew very well that Stephen must have someone very powerful backing him up,


    since he was able to take control of all the ces of entertainment in the city. He was a tough nut to


    crack.


    Seeing Jackson''s reaction, Sally He realized that she must have underestimated Stephen.


    Cherry did not know what they were talking about. She only knew that the two men had been


    acquainted with each other for many years. She had been too irritated to care about their grudges.


    "Stephen, let''s get out of here, " said Cherry.


    "Okay, " Stephen answered delightedly, his eyes still on Jackson. He let go of Jackson and got rid of his


    grip on him.


    They walked past Jackson.


    As they were leaving, Sally He silently stared at Cherry''s back, her eyes glinting with hatred.
