Chapter 13 Fancy Dinner In A Good Mood
An hourter, when Cherry Shen saw the borate dinnerid out in front, she finally felt happy. She
smiled. "Wow, there is so much delicious food. I have never had such fancy dinner before."
Jackson passed the chopsticks to her and said, "Just eat."
Cherry took the chopsticks and immediately started to eat. While eating, she cheerfully praised
Jackson, "These preparations are all very delicious. You cook better than Shen''s housemaid does."
Looking at Cherry, Jackson felt sad. She must have lived a hard life in Shen House. If not, she wouldn''t
have been so excited by this dinner. And she also looked really thin and weak.
At night, Cherry wrapped herself in a quilt andy on the bed. She was afraid that Jackson, who was
lying next to her, might make moves on her.
"Come here and lie in my arms." Said Jackson, suddenly. He stretched his arms and beckoned to
Cherry toe and sleep in his arms.
"No! You look dangerous." Cherry shook her head. She would not be fooled.
"Cherry, who would you like to take the initiative, you or me?" Jackson asked. He wondered why this
woman was so difficult to cajole.
"No one will take the initiative. Let''s sleep separately." Cherry said firmly. The bed was big enough and
it would be nice if they could sleep separately, without interacting with each other.
"Cherry,e on. If youe over here, I''ll leave you alone tonight." Jackson had never imagined that
he would be so patient with this woman.
"No. I don''t believe you." Cherry thought that Jackson was the most dangerous person at this moment.
He was as dangerous as a wolf.
As soon as Cherry finished her sentence, Jackson moved towards her.

harsh. He sounded serious.
Cherry appeared frightened. She could tell that Jackson was not joking.
Cherry calmed down. She did not want to make things more dangerous for her.
Lying in Jackson''s arms, Cherry remained still.
Jackson was now satisfied with this well-behaved woman. He preferred women who were patient,
tender and obedient.
Jackson looked at Cherry''s face closely and asked her, concerned, "Is it painful?"
Cherry knew what he was talking about. A touch of sadness flowed into her heart. "I''m used to it." Said
Cherry, lightly.
Her words made Jackson''s heart ache. Was she used to it? Did that mean Jean hit her often?
Cherry did not know why, but she wanted to tell Jackson all about her past.
"I have been disliked by the Shen family members since I was a child. In the past, when I was hit or felt
sad, I could go find my mom. Butter, my mom went abroad with Uncle Jacob and I had nowhere to
go. I can only hide the sorrows in my heart. You have seen it yesterday, haven''t you? Aunt Jade and
Jean have always treated me like that."
Jackson didn''t say anything. He had already known it. What the woman said and he had seen matched

However, Cherry said, lightly, "Forget it. She is just like that. What can you do to her? Even killing her
won''t lessen my hatred."
Cherry had a deep-rooted hatred for Jean, but she had never actually taken revenge on her. She just
yed it out in her mind.
"And Jade Qiao. I''ll not let them go, all those who have ever bullied you." Jackson had made up his
mind this time. For the first time, he wanted to protect a woman.
Cherry knew that Jackson really meant it. Even though she hadn''t seen it herself, she could guess the
power wielded by Jackson and the Chu family.

Seeing Jackson not objecting to her request, Cherry lowered her head, buried herself in Jackson''s
arms and stopped talking.
"We''ll take wedding photos tomorrow. The marriage certificate will be issued in a few days and our
wedding party will be held in two weeks. These are grandpa''s wishes, " said Jackson.
"Well, we''ll do as grandpa wishes." Cherry nodded.
In her world, apart from her mother, Emily and Jackson were the most important people. Although she

It was a sunny day when Jackson and Cherry went to take wedding photos outdoors. After a day of

After Derek drove away, Jackson grabbed Cherry by her waist and held her in his arms.
"What are you doing?" asked Cherry. Cherry was a bit surprised by his action. This man was always so
aggressive and she was not allowed to resist.
"Is he really that handsome?" Jackson asked, coldly.
Looking at his creased brows, Cherry burst outughing when she realized that he was jealous.
"What are youughing at?" Jackson asked.
"Nothing…" Cherry held back herughter. This man sometimes acted like a child.
Jackson Chu persisted, "You haven''t answered my question yet."
"Well." Cherry answered, earnestly, "Derek is handsome, but Chief Chu is more handsome. Is that all
right with you?"
Jackson was a bit satisfied with her words.
"Cherry, you must remember that in the future you are not allowed to look at other men. You can only
look at me." Said Jackson, as he put his arm around Cherry''s shoulder. They walked to the apartment.
"Why? I''m an independent person. I have the right to look at men." Said Cherry. Cherry decided she
wouldn''t be that obedient.
"You are my woman." Said Jackson, bossily.
"Who is your woman? I''m not." Said Cherry.
"Will you admit to being my woman after I take action tonight?"
"Jackson, don''t mess around."
"What do you consider is messing around?"
"If you offend me, you are messing around."
"Does this count?"
"Jackson, you!"
"Cherry, don''t ever try to leave me."
