“No, it has nothing to do with her.” David finally uttered to respond. But he still had no courage to look
at Louis, “Louis, I have been in a grudge against you. But I tried hard to put up with it during the past
few years.”
“I could never be resigned to the fact that I could only serve you as your assistant regardless of my
excellency! And you even condescended to lecture me! My jealousy burnt when I saw the Smith Group
booming. Then I sold the confidential information to the rivals.”
Louis replied casually, “Do you know how much you have to pay for it?”
“It would be just a few years of imprisonment.” David smiled and shrugged. He then added, “But I have
earned enough. The money I got from selling the information has gone far beyond the sum of my
annual pay during these years. What I got is worth my time in the prison.”
“David, here is yourst chance.” Said Louis.
“Confess to me if you want no bad consequence.”
“I have nothing to confess. I didmit it.”

As Louis noticed that David still insisted tomit the crime, Louis didn’t intend to argue anymore. He
turned around and left, “You have to pay for your own choice.”

Catherine also noticed something fishy. She hurried to tell Louis about it.
Catherine asked for permission, “Mr. Smith, shall we inform the Security Commission of it and require a
limit of their purchase?”
Louis still lookedposed while browsing the information of the purchase, including the date, the
number of shares and also the sum.

arrived?”
“Most of them.”
Louis put on his suit zer and walked out of the office with Catherine.
The profit shown on the earnings report during the recent two years had been promising. All
shareholders were quite satisfied with it. However, the bombshell happening a few days ago also
stirred up agitation among them.
After all, they earned only when Smith group did the same.

Sofia, who was told by Catherine to enter, walked over beside Louis and asked formally, “Mr. Smith,
what can I do for you?”
“Take a seat.” Louis pointed at a chair beside.
All shareholders were confused by the sudden arrival of this senior manager.
Louis then opened an envelope and took out a piece of file. Then he handed it to Catherine to show
everyone in the room.
“I decide to offer Sofia an elerated promotion to make her one of the board members as an award
for her excellent working performance. Besides, she will get two percentage of shares transferred from
mine. From now on, she is also one of the shareholders of Smith Group.”
Hearing that, some of the shareholders wore a dark face.
Even the one who owed the most only got a bit more than three percentage of shares. But now, Louis
announced that he offered Sofia two percentage!
Louis scanned everyone present and asked, “So what’s yourment?”
Louis owned more than half of all the shares of Smith Group. He had the dominant control of all. Thus,
an impeachment against him could never be reached even if all shareholders joined together.
Though they all held great disapproval, they had no choice but to vote to agree.

Sofia was also dumfounded when knowing that she got shares transferred from Louis. She couldn’t

After a few seconds of hesitation, Sofia took over the file from Louis and smiled, “Thank you for your
trust, Mr. Smith. I will do my best to live up to your appreciation.”
Louis replied with a mysterious smile revealed from his eyes, “Miss Jones, I know you won’t fail me.”
Tens of thousands of miles away, Lily, who dwelt in an ind of Norway, knew nothing about what was
happening in Yorkshire.
As time passed by, her belly grew bigger and bigger just like a huge mellow pumpkin, making her hard
to move freely.
John tended her more cautiously. He would only stay with her in the house unless she asked for a walk
along the beach. And the doctors were required toe for a check more frequently.
As John was aware that she needed to be tended with great care because of the triplets in her belly. So

As John just finished his food and had a talk with her, he suddenly coughed fiercely and blooding

Lily hurried to bring him some pills and water.
Staring at his pale face, she said gently with great agitation, “John, we should turn to Justin for help. I
am really worried about your situation…”
She even started to sob while speaking.
About half a month ago, John, who still stayed fine, suddenly began to cough so fiercely that it almost
seemed to kill him. It was likely that he had a rpse of his symptom when he went to Country F for
treatment.
“I am good with you staying together.” John kept himself away from her in case she would get stained
by the smell of blood.
“I won’t leave until I see you give birth to the babies.”
Lily seemed to be moved. She covered her mouth and remained silent.
She had been feeling annoyed during the past two months though she was in a cozy condition. But that
was not what she wanted. She had the urge to throw a tantrum in front of John for several times. But
she still strangled it when thinking of what he had done.
She couldn’t bear to leave him alone, who looked dying. Nor could she bear to witness his death.
Lily soon went to bed as she had no appetite for food today.
After hours of sleep, someone patted on her face gently to wake her up, “Lily, let’s go.”
John supported her up. She asked confusedly, “Where are we going?”
John replied as he supported her downstairs, “I am worried because you are close to the expected date
of confinement. And it’s too remote to have some medical equipment transported here. I need to get
you to another dwelling where it’s more essible for doctors.”
Lily didn’t show any objection. She walked out of the house with John taking her weight.
There parked a helicopter on the beach in distance. John helped her up into the helicopter, “I have
something else to get in the house.”
As John walked away, Lily started to wonder where John would take her to while stroking her belly. She
was worried if Louis would find out where she was once she moved to a more bustling area in which
they could have ess to doctors more easily.
She suddenly noticed that there was a phone on the co-pilot seat.
She seemed to have a n. Then she said to the pilot, “John might need a hand. Could you please get
to the house to help him bring those stuffs here?”
