Chapter 559

    ?Chapter 559:

Even Andres looked grim. He never expected Amor to be that bold.

He approached Kylo respectfully. “Mr. Vargas, ording to Muisvedo’s rules, a cheater’s legs should be broken, and they’re to be thrown out.”

It was an old, calcted tradition. “Thrown out” was Muisvedo’s way of sparing the venue any death toll, though no one expected a cheater to survive long afterward.

Amor’s expression turned ashen. She could see the trap for what it was now—Kylo’s clever orchestration to sweep her out of the way for good.

She’d been outmaneuvered. Kylo had likely been scheming this for a long time, figuring out how to eliminate her under the guise of legitimacy.

Kylo was dangerous—more dangerous than she’d realized.

She forced herself upright, remaining defiant even now, blood trickling from her lips. “Kylo, you’re a damn snake, joining forces with her to set me up.”

Her voice cracked with bitterness, eyes bloodshot. “But don’t think I’ll go down easy. Muisvedo’s entire foreignwork is under my thumb!”

Kylo leaned forward, cing his fingers. “That’s true. But you won’t be going abroad anytime soon, Amor. I hear quite a few people are waiting for you.”

He’d nned all of this—to seize her connections, im her empire. But he hadn’t counted on Allison’s arrival tonight. Her unexpected intervention proved to be a boon.

“But you won’t get a penny if I die!”

Kylo’s calm expression didn’t flicker. He raised his hand, and Andres nodded, turning to his men. “Escort her out,” he ordered.

“No! You can’t do this!” Amor wed at the table, desperation etching lines across her face. “I’ll haunt you to hell!”

But with her injuries—both fresh and festering—she could only watch as they dragged her from the room.

The faint smears of blood marking her path were soon followed by her piercing, echoing screams.

    “My legs—no!”

Everyone stood still, the casino nketed in a heavy silence. No one dared breathe too loudly, too fearful to break the fragile calm that had settled in the wake of Amor’s removal.

Allison spun the revolver’s cylinder onest time, then inspected it briefly.

“Mr. Vargas, the gun is empty now. Let’s call it a draw.” To prove her point, she fired into a safe area. Each shot clicked without a sound.

Kylo’s face softened, a genuine smile reaching his eyes.

“No one’s ever drawn with me before,” he admitted, his tone warm and without its usual cold detachment. “So let’s call it a win. Miss Scarlet Snake, what do you want?”

They both understood the unspoken agreement between them: neither would press for more than the other was willing to give. Allison thought for a moment, then said, “Another day.”
