Chapter 33


    Anastasia sat on the couch with a headache for a while before getting up and picking up her coat to


    head outside.


    She was still wondering why stor would go to a bar and light in a drunken state.


    Anastasia had known stor for four years, and she knew that he was mature andposed. He


    would never do such a thing as to lose his status. That was why the incident that day surprised her.


    Blood drained from her face as Anastasia felt a severe headache.


    When she was discharged from the hospital, she saw stor deliver food to Felicia in a hurry. She


    wondered if they had quarreled


    Anastasiaughed ironically and thought, “It looks like they really had a quarrel.”


    After knowing that stor was going to leave a marriage with nothing, Felicia had her face turned


    gloomy.


    With her attitude, Felicia must have fought with stor.

    Anastasia drove to the bar. When she got out of the car, her legs felt numb, and her bones began to


    hurt. She did not know how long her body could hold on.


    “You’re finally here!” In a private room, a man said with a reproachful tone. It was stor’s younger


    cousin, Steven Quigley, who was also a member of thepany’s management.


    “Why don’t you just send him back by yourself?” Anastasia asked in a deepened voice.


    The corner of stor’s lips was bruised, which was clearly caused by a fight.

    She wondered what exactly stor was trying to do by fighting with Jason.


    Anastasia, why are you protecting him?” Steven looked at Anastasia in astonishment. Anger was


    shown on his faceter on. “It seems that stor is right. You already have someone else.”


    Anastasia looked at Steven, feeling her fingers turn numb.


    She thought, “Is that how stor told Steven about me?”


    Anastasia clenched her fingers tightly with trembling breaths, and her gaze fell on stor.

    stor sat up straight and looked up at Anastasia with aplicated gaze.


    “Anastasia, why are you treating stor like this? No wonder he’s so mad today! Is this how you treat


    him when he has been good to you in the past four years of marriage?” Steven red at Jason angrily


    and then at Anastasia. “When you two got married, our whole family opposed the marriage. It was my


    brother who insisted on marrying you and ignored their opposition. Your poor family was like a beggar,


    following behind stor and always asking him for money. Did stor evenin about you these


    years?”


    “Steven!” stor’s voice was deep and full of anger. He clearly wanted Steven to shut up.


    “stor! Why should I shut up? What makes her think she could do such terrible things to you!” Steven


    was emotionally agitated. “What gives her the right to treat you like this when you have been good to


    her? She even secretly installed surveince cameras at home, wanting to force you to leave the


    marriage with nothing. This woman is really malicious.”


    Anastasia took a deep breath, and her eyes darkened.


    In order to put her on charges, stor had already started to nder her in front of his family, paving


    the way for forcing her to divorce.


    “Anastasia…” Jason noticed something was off with Anastasia and hugged her in panic. “Anastasia!”


    “Get lost!” stor also rushed forward to snatch Anastasia in panic and pushed Jason away. “Don’t let


    me see you before we get a divorce…”
