When his leaders conspire to use him as bait, bringing him to death's door, he must consume others to survive. But his world is more mysterious than he imagines. And eldritch creatures roam the waking world, treating him as their next meal. Should he succumb to his base desires, or fight back against the eldritch horrors? Eating before he is eaten. People live in underground caverns, using giant mirror constructs to reflect light from the surface into the caves. ?
