    Charles tried to get close and chatted enthusiastically with Sonia.


    “This is my first time in Stugan City. Lex said it’s like a graduation trip. Are there fun things to do here?”


    Sonia’s tone was naive and romantic, truly sounding like a tourist.


    Candice nced back and saw Alex closing his eyes to rest. Alex liked the quiet, and he hated it when

    She collided with Alex, her handsnding on his sturdy thighs. Alex grunted at the impact. When the


    vehicle returned to its course, Charles kept apologizing.


    Candice used a bit of force on the hands that were on Alex’s thighs to sit back properly.


    She took a slow breath and was about to move away from Alex when she heard him whisper, “Was it


    intentional?”


    After saying that, he nced at Candice’s hand that was still on his thigh. Candice withdrew her hand

    Alex snorted coldly and turned away.


    Candice and Alex followed Charles to tour the branch office. During lunchtime, Charles wanted to treat


    everyone to a meal, but Alex raised his phone and said, “No need. Someone is waiting for me at the


    hotel.”
