In July of 2136 Humanity became the Federations first contact with sapient predators. Without the centuries of unending warfare, genocide, bloodshed, struggle, grief, and turmoil, at the hands of the Grays, the citizens of the Federation view humanity more through a lens of awe, fascination and (a bit too much) mysticism rather than skepticism and fear.
