    Cordelia showered and changed into nice clothes, and quickly touched up her makeup.


    As she stepped out of the dressing room, her phone vibrated with a message.

    sneered coldly, while Gabe greeted her with a warm smile.


    Elijah kept his arm around her, his grip on her shoulder so tight she worried it would leave marks. It was

    “Cordelia, it looks like you’ve been losing weighttely,” Gabe remarked gently, serving Cordelia some


    food. “Remember, your health is important. Even if you’re young, you can’t torture your body like that.”


    “Thank you, Gabe,” Cordelia smiled. “Don’t forget to take your medication. When you have time, I’ll


    take you to see the doctor again.”


    “So you’re still not pregnant?” Edith abruptly asked.


    Cordelia was caught off guard, and she lowered her eyes, pondering for a moment. “You should ask


    Elijah to take a check-up. He never listens to me.


    Since Elijah sat down, he had been engrossed in his phone, likeing home was a distraction from
