    “Ms. Maia.” Paige greeted her and continued to keep her head down.

    “Why were these documents on the floor?” Maia questioned in a seemingly calm tone. In truth, she was restraining herself from


    throwing these files at Tess.

    floor. Maia could not believe how fast her aunt could change her behavior.


    “| was just upset that Paige couldn''t do her work properly, so | gave her a warning. However, she looked like she wasn''t listening,


    so | got slightly angry and gave her back these documents. They slipped and fell causing this mess!” Tess exined


    shamelessly.


    Maia was bbergasted at her brazen behavior. Paige, on the other hand, did not dare to voice her dissatisfaction and remained


    silent.


    Without saying a word to Tess, Maia continued to help Paige with the mess and when she passed the documents back to her,

    the hospital. After all, Celia is ourpany’s artist. It’s my job to pay her a visit and check on her.”
