Maia was worried when she saw Tess’s weakened state. She tried to struggle out of Theo''s grip and get to her.

Tess just shook her head at Maia as she looked at her. When the two men released her, Tess fell with a loud thud on the deck.
Maia cried out to Tess as she saw her copse. Even though she was restrained, Maia still tried to get closer to Tess as she
continued to call out to her so that Tess would stay conscious.
“| didn’t expect you to have such a close rtionship with Aunt Tess!” Theomented with amusement as he smiled at them
cruelly.
“Theo, what do you want from us? Don’t forget that Aunt Tess is also your aunt!”

“Theo, how could you do this?” Tess struggled to sit up as she looked at her crazy nephew. She continued weakly, “We’re your
family. How could youy hands on your own family? Don’t you have a conscience?”
“Conscience is worthless! | would do anything to obtain more money! Even if it means murder!” Theo walked closer to Tess and
gave her a kick
“Aunt Tess!” Maia shouted as she red at Theo with hatred.
“Oh, Maia, don’t look at me like that. You’re next anyway!” Theo shed a twisted smile. Next, he ordered his men to ce them

His men ced them roughly into the wooden boxes. At that moment, someone on the deck. shouted, “Look, there are so many
speedboatsing toward us!”
“What?” Theo was surprised as he took the binocrs from his henchmen and double- checked. He was shocked to see more
than ten boats heading toward them!
“Damn it! Cedric got here faster than Lexpected! Hurry up! Release the rescue boat, we need to get away now!” Theo shouted at
his men in a hurry.

Theoughed arrogantly as he replied, “I can’t escape? Don’t be ridiculous! As long as | have Maia, Cedric has no choice but to
listen to me. | can tell you want to kill me, but unfortunately, your dear wife''s life is in my hands!”
Cedric took over the megaphone and asked coldly, “Name your price.”
“Get me a speedboat with only the driver on it!”
Baz went to get it done right away. After a few minutes, a speedboat drove toward Theo’s boat.
