A week later they arrived at a little hut in the middle of nowhere.
“Okay, El, you haven’t told us where we are,” Ajesh said, getting out of the car, “Or why we’re here. Just answer one of those questions.”.
“It’s pretty warm here. As if it’s July,” Thea commented.
“Fine, fine, I’ll answer the question,” El said, knocking on the hut’s metal door, causing a loud bang.
A boy in a tank top and baggy blue pants wearing white wrist bands and one earring on his right ear opened the door with his eyes wide. “Metal arm. So that’s what caused the bang.” the boy remarked.
“Sovreign God Nova, I assume?” Ajesh asked, startling everyone.
“Yeah, you too?” the kid responded unphased about how he knew.
“Shiva projected himself and told me. But you seem stronger somehow,” Ajesh told him.
“Come in, grandpa isn’t home right now. He went out to buy food to cook dinner. Ajesh, we’ll talk more later,” the boy said. “By the way, names Kai.”.
As they walked into the home, Kai asked El about his reasoning for coming here.
“Akamu owes me. We were friends back in the day.”.
“So, in the stone age?” Ethan asked.
El rolled his eyes and sat down on the couch, with everyone following and Kai passing out water.
“Sup, names Sanzang,” Sanzang said, extending a handshake.
Kai shook his hand and asked “Sanzang, like Tang Sanzang?”.
Sanzang looked at him and looked at Ethan. “Are you two brothers?” Sanzang questioned in confusion.
“I’m literally black and he looks to be….” Ethan stuttered, before Thea chimed in.
“Hawaiian. He’s Hawaiian.”.
“How do you know that?” Ajesh asked.
Thea yelled, annoyed with his question
“Have you not LOOKED AT THIS HOUSE? IT HAS SO MANY HAIWAIIAN THINGS!”.
Sanzang flinched and Ajesh looked back at Kai.
“So, I know that you’re the Nova of a Sovereign God, but who exactly?”.
“The Honored One, or The Buddha.” he said, shocking everyone.
“First question, why aren’t you bald?” Sanzang asked.
“I like my hair,” Kai shrugged.
“More important question, why do I feel you''re stronger than me?” Ajesh inquired.
“I have this thing called Perfect Rhythm. It’s a stronger version of Rhythm, plus I don’t get a personality change. As if I had Rhythm constantly going. Also, no booming music,” Kai explained.
“So, what the God’s intended Rhythm to be?” Ajesh remarked.
“Exactly. Hey Ajesh, wanna go outside for a quick fight?” Kai said.

Ajesh got up and walked outside, and Kai followed. Ajesh stretched and Kai put his hands together and muttered a few words.
Suddenly his eyes glowed a bright gold with his earring shining in the sun.
Ajesh narrowed his eyes, and a dark blue and purple aura surrounded him.
“This is the same feeling I felt when I fought Lysander” Ajesh thought. He grew a large smile and charged forward with a spinning ball of dark blue energy in his hand. He slammed the ball into Kai’s stomach, and it caused a shockwave of energy, sending Kai flying 20 feet away.
“Something''s wrong…” Sanzang said.
“What do you mean?” Thea asked.
“He only smiles like that in two situations. When he’s losing in a card game, but has something really good to make a comeback,” Sanzang explained, pausing, as if he’s remembering something.
“And what else?” Thea demanded.
“When I was five and he was seven, Ajesh fought a boy who was 3 years older than him. That’s the only other time I saw him smile like that.”.
Kai dusted off his tank top and was about to launch his own attack back, but then Ajesh was already there, launching an explosion sending Kai back 15 feet.
“I thought my abilities failed me!” Kai remarked, before running back to Ajesh and sweeping him off the ground. Kai kicked him in the gut right before he was about to fall, sending him flying.
Ajesh picked himself up and activated his god’s armor, growing two blue ghostly flaming arms.
He was about to attack, but then Kai palmed him in the chest, causing him to stop.
“Now for the next 3 minutes your soul isn’t part of your body!” Kai yelled in joy, but then he was punched by one of the flaming arms to the ground.
Ajesh’s eyes were black, without life, but he kept attacking. Kai kept getting knocked back, and then he got punched in the face. Kai only got knocked back a few feet, but he was surprised. He wiped the blood off his mouth and asked Sanzang a question.
“His soul is out of his body, how is he attacking?”. Ajesh took the flaming arms and grabbed Kai''s head, slamming it against his knee.
Sanzang laughed, before answering “I guess Ajesh loves fighting strong people he’ll fight even if his soul is out of his body!”. Kai got up, but he looked unphased.
Kai punched Ajesh and then kicked him in the face. Kai then pulled his hand back, bringing Ajesh’s soul back.
Ajesh summoned 9 spinning circles of his destruction energy and launched all of them. Kai got sent flying 25 feet and looked confused.
“Okay I need to explain. My ability allows me to gain pain tolerance and heal to certain attacks quicker. I basically use the Four Noble Truths to adapt. But your attacks have been bypassing them,” Kai told Ajesh.
“I also have a Sovereign God y’know. Shiva. His Nasht is sort of an anti-heal.” Ajesh said, charging a blast, but then a car approached them.
A tall muscular man got out and told Kai to get inside. The man walked up to Ajesh and asked “So you all came to fight my grandson? Well you get to fight his grandad too,” The man said.
Ethan pulled out a toothpick from his pockets and manifested Jingubang, and Sanzang got into God Stance.
El walked out the house and yelled “AKAMU! These kids are with me!”.
“Woah, metal arm? Where’d you get that from?” The man asked.
“Long story, but I need a favor. Remember how you said you’d shelter me and some friends if I ever became a wanted criminal across the world?”.
Akamu answered “Yeah, I did. And I knew you were coming. That’s why we’re moving back to Hawaii. I saw the news. My house is too remote for the Supreme Allies to find us.”.
“So where are we now?” Thea asked, tapping Ethan and Sanzang to get out of the fighting stances.
“Florida.” Akamu told them. They were all surprised, except Ajesh who was too tired to give a reaction, so he just went and joined Kai inside.
“Okay, so how do we get there? Not like we have a private jet,” Thea told everyone.
Ethan summoned a cloud and sat on top of it. “I could just fly there,” he said.
Kai saw from the hut and got out, summoning his own cloud and sitting on it. “So can I!” he said. Ethan rolled his eyes.
Akamu nodded and they both left at the speed of sound. Everyone sighed. “Y’know what, let’s just get a flight,” Thea said, but Sanzang interrupted.
“Hey! It might be slower than a cloud somersault, but I think I got something!” Sanzang told everyone. He went to the shore and called out for Jormungandr.
After 10 minutes the serpent arose from the waters.
“Jormun, remember when you agreed to always help the Trinexus? Well guess who’s the Trinexus?”.
The serpent sighed and they all got on Jormungandr’s head. Jormungandr yelled and threw them all off, except Sanzang.
“Trinexus only!” Jormungandr told them all.
They all sighed and Akamu told them “I got a flight for tomorrow to Hawaii, we’ll be there later.”.
