Mundo Theory

“Gilgamesh told me about his “original world”, what do you think that means?” Sanzang asked. “Maybe he’s just exaggerating.” Amane responded while in the drivers seat. “He could be serious.” Ethan said, playing rock paper scissors with a clone, tying every time. He ignored the game and de-summoned his clone, turning to El. “How old are you by the way? I’ve called you old man, but I never knew your real age.” Ethan asked. “I’m 80, and as for his comment about another world, there''s a theory I’ve thought about.” El said, getting up and walking around in the helicopter. “We know the existence of other gods, but think about it. So many different creation myths, world altering stories, and apocalypses. And then I realized, there must’ve been a world before this one. That’s where the gods originate. It’s just a theory, but it’s a good one. I call it ‘Mundo Theory’”. Then Thea asked El “Then what caused that world to collapse, and make this one?”. “I once saw a mural in Saudi Arabia, the night that star dropped. It had a few pantheons, all showing the head gods on them, and an army. There must’ve been a war.” El answered. “Then who were they fighting?” Thea asked again. “At the bottom of the mural there was a man with black gauntlets that had golden bracelets on them, a red belt, an anklet object and a blade attached to one of his gauntlets. I don’t know who it was, but he was for sure the one they fought.”. Just as El finished, they felt as if an earthquake had occurred, and they were being pushed down. Everyone felt it but Sanzang, who was wondering what happened. Lysander saw this reaction from Sanzang and quickly pulled him upwards. “WHY AREN’T YOU FEELING THIS. ARE YOU CAUSING IT?!” he yelled, with Sanzang blocking spit from his face. “DUDE WHAT THE HELL?! I DON’T KNOW?!” Sanzang yelled back, his anger clearly rising. Thea got up to help out, but then Ethan sat her down. “Just let it happen. It’ll work out.” he told her. Lysander threw Sanzang out of the helicopter and the earthquake stopped. Before they could go down to stop him from falling, a giant hologram like golden monkey, resembling Hanuman arose, with Sanzang in its chest. They could hear a loud beat of a song El recognized as the Hanuman Chalisa. “DID SANZANG GET HIS RHYTHM?! WHAT HAPPENED?!” Amane yelled. The Hanuman avatar took Sanzang out of his chest and put him in the helicopter, and disappeared. “Was that his god’s armor?” Thea asked, stunned. Sanzang was fast asleep, and Lysander sat down clearly confused. After a few hours they landed in Korea. “Welcome to my home guys!” Amane yelled, jumping out the helicopter in excitement. Ethan Thea and Lysander walked out, and El refueled the helicopter. After he finished, he grabbed Sanzang and threw him to the ground before walking away. Sanzang got up, and struggled to see. “Damn I lost them.” he said. He then walked around, seeing the sights of Korea. He saw an auction, and decided to go closer. “ONE OF A KIND ARMOR, WITH METAL NEVER SEEN ON EARTH” the man running the auction said. The armor was an armored-like monk shirt and pants, a red belt, sandals, and  fingerless gauntlets with gold bracelets. Sanzang''s eyes glowed on how cool the armor was, and requested if he could touch it. As Sanzang walked up the stand, he put his hand on the shirt. Suddenly a flood of memories surged through his brain, and he got a pounding headache. As he took his hand off the armor, it disappeared, as if it was burnt with gold and red fire. “HEY YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THAT! IT WAS GOING FOR 4.56 BILLION WON!” the man running the auction said. Sanzang quickly ran away, and found everyone eating at a restaurant. Then the mob of people that were chasing him quickly surrounded him. “Okay so…uhhh, I know you guys are mad, but it was really bad quality anyway, so I just did you guys a favor.” He told them, keeping his hands up. They got closer but then Amane walked out the store. She said something in Korean and they backed off. “What’d you say?” he asked Amane. “Just told them that whatever you did you did by accident because you’re a dumbass.” she replied, walking back in. “Rude, but it fits’.” Sanzang said, walking in and sitting with everyone. After they finished eating, Amane took them to her house. It was a small apartment with food laying everywhere, a whiteboard with plans and theories, and a giant map of the world. “I thought the Old Novas were in China, but they weren’t there.” Amane explained. “I think I know where they are, assuming they haven’t moved.” Lysander told them. “Where is it?” Amane eagerly asked. “I believe their first  base is in Texas. It’s not their only one but it’s the best shot we got.” Lysander said. “Okay, we’ll take a break for a week and then go to Texas. Good?” El told everyone. Everyone agreed, but then Ethan asked Lysander a question. “Wait, we were in New York…how did you get to us?” Ethan asked him. “I ran.” He calmly responded. “For how long?” Ethan asked again. “A day I think?” Lysander responded. On top of the apartment complex a man in some armor had his full hand on the ground and was kneeling. “Miguel, is it time?” The man said, tapping his earbud. “Yes Alaric. Blast.”. The man pushed his hand against the ground, causing the building to burst into flames, and all electricity to be deactivated. Amane and the others went outside the building, and Sanzang ran up to find the man standing looking back at him. “Why’d you do that? You don’t seem that bad.” Sanzang asked him, going into God Stance, eager to try out what he learnt. “You''re not my opponent kid, just leave. I did what I needed to do, so I’ll leave now.” Alaric said to Sanzang, adjusting his gauntlets. “Well you ruined our only day of rest in a while so I’m legally required to fight you.” Sanzang said, charging his legs with Divine Soul. Alaric saw this and raised his hand out. “Y’know who I’m the Nova of?” Alaric asked Sanzang. “The avatar?” Sanzang sarcastically answered. “Izanagi. God of creation in the Shinto Pantheon.” Alaric answered, but then Sanzang rushed at him attempting to kick him in the head. Alaric dodged before launching a blast of both wind and sound point blank, causing all glass within a 50 foot radius to shatter and Sanzang to get launched next to the rest of the group. “I said I didn’t want to fight you. Sometimes just listen.” Alaric said, walking off, and summoning a cloud. He jumped on it and flew away with the cloud. Ethan recognized it, and quickly told everyone “That’s the cloud somersault. Used by Sun Wukong. How does he know how to do that?”. Sanzang got up and dusted off some dirt. “He’s pretty strong. He sounded around 20 years old. What is he doing beating up kids?” Sanzang said. “He’s one of the 10 Centurions. They are the oldest of the generation, but they are below the Nova Trinity in terms of power.” Lysander explained. “I remember Miguel had Alaric under his tutelage.”. Sanzang walked away, and everyone looked behind them to see what he was doing. “Where are you going?! We don’t have transportation!” Thea said, annoyed with Sanzang. “Yeah, we barely have a plan. We don’t have nearly enou-” before El could finish Sanzang yelled at the top of his lungs “IT DOESN’T MATTER I’M TAKING ON THESE OLD NOVAS HEAD ON. YOU''RE NOT HELPING, FINE..” Sanzang yelled. “It’s about time someone took things seriously.” Amane said, leaving with Sanzang. You might be reading a pirated copy.
