    Ranita nced coldly at Brendon without saying a word and got into the car.


    “Thank you, Ranita! I knew you would be the best to me!” Allen chirped, making Brendon’s head ache. He gave Allen a disdainful look, and Allen immediately stopped talking.


    Just then, Ranita’s phone rang.


    “Brother? Why are you calling so early?” Ranita calmly answered the phone. The way she sweetly called him ‘brother’ made Brendon’s heart surge with mixed emotions and his face turn pale.

    “See you then!”


    Ranita finished the call with a smile, and Allen immediately asked, “Ranita, who was that?”


    “My brother!” Ranita blinked and smiled. “Why?”

    “Focus on driving! Why so much talk?” Brendon spoke coldly, his gaze sharp as he looked at Allen.


    Allen was forced to shut up.


    The car stopped, and Ranita got out first. Brendon followed her and suddenly exined, “Ranita, I didn’t marry Shannon…”


    “Mr. Stuart, you don’t need to exin! It’s none of my business whom you marry,” Ranita interrupted him coldly. “There’s no rule that says divorced individuals can’t find someone else.”
