Chapter 228
Ivy is literally stunned when she saw Wyatt again right in front of her door step. She doesn’t even
know if she could handle him again on this day of her life. She left for London to have her peace but
Wyatt followed her to woo her.
“What are you doing here again? Early in the morning?” She said, sleepily. “Can’t you just have your
peaceful sleep?”
Wyatt scoffed. “Are you concern to me now?” he teased.
She raised a brow at him. “I am not concern about you,” she fired back.
Wyatt chuckled. He was in his suit now. He has a clean cut hair, his polo sleeve folded up to his
elbow and he’s even wearing a khaki trouser pairing up with his sneaker.
“Done eye-raping me, baby?” He asked her, chuckling. And still teasing her.
Ivy rolled her eyes. “Can’t you just go away now? You’re so annoying and I am irritated to see you
right in my morning routine,” she muttered.
She was being rude to him now and she doesn’t even give a damn about it. He’s the one who likes
to pursue her and she was just trying to make him give up.
Wyatt raised both of his hands to surrender. “Alright, I will just go around the City andter at
2pm…” he trailed off as he massage the back of his head. “I’ll pick you up and oh… don’t look pretty
again. I just want you to wear casual and no make up.” he winked.
Ivy frowned. “Who are you to boss me around? Go away! You’re like a sun. Irritating when I am
seeing you!” she said and close the door.
She leaned on the back of the door and her heart is beating so fast. She couldn’t relieve herself.
She could feel that she was blushing because of Wyatt’s words earlier.
Her heart is still hammering. She couldn’t even move to her position now. With that morning, she
couldn’t even finish her daily routine. And guess what, it’s only Wyatt who could make her heart
beat faster than ever.
“What is that, Ivy!” she said, horror in her tone. “You can’t blush like that!” she added, scolding
herself.
Moments had passed, when she finally had the courage to walk, she went to the bathroom and just
take a bath. She’s being rude to him and she knew it was a wrong idea but that’s what she wants.
She wanted him to suffer too. She’s not easy to deal with.
“Maybe, you are good to your words right now, Wyatt…” she trailed off as she move her hands on
the tub. “…you can’t have me that easily. Not with your flowery mouth.” she added.
After she finished taking a bath, she wear her clothes now and decided to go out of her ce. It was
just only pass eight in the morning and the sun is not that even hard to burn a skin. She decided to
walk to a nearby store and then she receive a calling from Windy.
“Girl! What are you doing now? Have you seen Wyatt?”Windy’s voice was full of excitement.
“What are you talking about? You look so excited.” she bluntly replied.
“Oh my God! Of course! I am so excited that you’ll fall for him again soon!” Windy uttered without
even filter in her mouth.
Ivy is also wondering on how she make her as her friend.
“Oh, girl. Don’t think already. I know the answer!” Windy added.
She just rolled her eyes. “Shut up, Windy. You’re annoying already.”
Wndy giggles on the other line.
“He was here and yeah…” Ivy informed. “I told him that I already forgive him and I don’t know if I
could give him a chance,” she added.
Windy sighed. “It’s up to you, girl. If you wanted him to woo you even more, then let him. If you
really don’t want to give him a chance, then tell him right away so he wouldn’t hope for you toe
back…” Windy advised. “And if you could see that he’s sincere about you, grab the chance and let
him love you. Let him prove himself to you.” She added.
Ivy doesn’t want to hear her advise anymore.
“We’ll talk againter, Windy. I will just stroll.” She said and then hang up on her.
She turned off her phone and continued walking. She saw some shops and she was mesmerized by
the cozy ce around. It wasn’t far from her unit and it was less hassle for her. She’s wondering
right now where Wyatt is.
“Probably, he’s having a good time with someone,” she muttered against the wind.
She just walk and went to a jewelry shop and then she went to another store again. When she
reach thest store, she was surprised since the store is like her name.
She entered there, she was walking around when someone bump to her. She apologized and after
that she roamed around her eyes again.
The ambiance of the store is cozy and screams extravagant. One of the salesdy went to her and
assisted her. They are smiling at her like she was an actress nor a model.
“You look so gorgeous, Ma’am.” The salesdyplimented her.
She just smile and stay humble.
“Thank you,” she said.
She look back again on the dresses. She finds something suit to her friend, Windy. She shop some
clothes for her and then left the store.
She heaved freely outside the store. While walking on the street again, she frowned when she
bumped into someone familiar to her.
It was Wyatt, holding something in his hands. It was a paper bag. He immediately hide it behind him
but it was toote since Ivy saw it.
“You’re here? Are you following me?” She used.
Wyatt pouted his lips. “Nope!” he said, popping the letter ‘p’.
She raised a brow. “Why do I always bump into you? You’re annoying already!”
Wyatt smirked. “It means, we are meant for each other…” he teased.
“Seriously, Mr. Reed?” she red at him. “Can’t you stop your flowery words? I really don’t like to
hear it.”
Wyatt shrugged his shoulders. “That’s what I am. When wooing the woman I want.” he replied.
She wasn’t surprised. She stared at him even more. She then rolled her eyes when she couldn’t
stand him anyway.
“You want to go somewhere? I know a ce.”
She narrowed her eyes. “It’s still morning, can’t you just wait? Until it’s already two in the
afternoon?” she was blunt to him.
