In the pitch-ck night, she returned to the bathroom alone.
The steaming hot water dispelled her coldness, and she rubbed her red and swollen eyes as she
walked into a room. Opening the door, she saw a warmly decorated children''s room.
She gently flicked the mobile, and the music from the music box filled the room. The room was dimly lit
with a warm yellow light. The atmosphere was clearly cozy, but tears couldn''t stop flowing from Avery''s
eyes.
Perhaps this was her retribution. It was because she didn''t protect her child well that God wanted to
take away her life.
Avery climbed onto the 1.2-meter-long crib, curling up into a small shape. The tears from her left eye
